Funny.....I thought this article was about a 30-DAY *** CHALLENGE!!!!!! Get over yourselves! Find an article about Hitler or lesbians and bring up your points there! Does anyone have any thoughts about this challenge anymore or are we all just using this as our own private soapbox?????

Maybe you should be de-programmed -- sending a child to Bible school and scary them with tales of hell, fire and demons is nothing short of pyschological child abuse. Anyone who does it should be ashamed of themselves. Children should not be indoctrinated and brainwashed before they can make an intelligent and rational decision about which religion, if any, makes sense.

rick, you come on here and "insult and persecute" g@y people by calling them all murderers and pedophiles and then you have the nerve to cry like a victim? You dont know the meaning of persecution
candide777"

Yeah rickprick and the religious reich want everything their way, theres no discussion or compromise, in a debate or discussion its always "well.. god SAID, gezus SAID, the bibull SAID'' thus ending any argument right there because according to them you cant argue
against a ''perfect'' book (even when shown glaringly obvious errors, subversion of women, condoning slavery ) or a ''perfect'' god (who created imperfect beings, which a perfect creator couldnt do)
Or else they claim the old testiment is not valid, thereby ignoring the DEATH, destruction and brutality caused BY it, and ignoring the fact its still included IN their book. Religios reich like rick are deluding themselves like the muslims with this notion theres some great reward like rick thinks there is, the muslims believe THEY will have paradise in heaven with 72 virgins if they are martyrs against the great satan- *US*, same rhettoric, different book, all results in delusions, death and more.

"I didnt begin to analyse it for how religion has impacted the world and I certainly didnt think of Hitler.
Cherryfries"

Religion has has a negative impact on the world, more wars, death, torture, bloodshed, destruction, hate, power struggles, land grabs and slavery has been propagated by/for/in the cause/name of religion than anything else.
Religious fanatics always find scores of followers happy to be led and controlled like dumb sheeple, and equally as happy to give all their money and property to their church who buys GOLD cups, silver candlestick holders, stained glass, marble altars. The LA cathedral cost over $350 million to build, the vatican sits on an enormous priceless art collection, another church in NYC sits on a 900-BILLION dollar trust fund while people go homeless and food banks go bare.
Religion and churches are about 3 things; MONEY, POWER and CONTROL.
You have old people signing over their SS checks to telecrooks like Robertson, Graham, Baker and others, yeah, praise GEZUS right!

Matthew 5:11-12:
11"Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. 12Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.
Thank you Candide777! You too newster!

rick, you come on here and "insult and persecute" gay people by calling them all murderers and pedophiles and then you have the nerve to cry like a victim? You don''t know the meaning of persecution -- try getting ridiculed and hit in the face by a couple of "Christian" jocks because you are gay, or worse, murdered for being gay.

rick, you are a fake christian, who spreads hatred and intolerance of gay people and thereby contributes to violence against gay. That is your legacy on this earth, nothing more. Sad.
