The interest pays people back for loaning money to the U.S. government. While thats alot of people, the BIG money goes to people with so much wealth, they can think of the interest payment as a ''tax break''.
OR they are Chinese, or Arab, in which case the $300 billion interest payment (ALMOST as much as we spend on our ENTIRE defense budget) is just a hook into the side of the American people, good for the usual reasons: eventually enslavement.

What I said was - and I will try to make it plain:
"Is it my fault that the Republicans - with their corruption, the adultery, the lies to make war for money at the expense of hundreds of thousands of innocents - go out of their way to make me look morally superior?"
