Typical media article. Polls show whatever they want to show. We want change? Ok. Congress'' approval rating is in the single digits. They make the laws, the President just suggests and signs whatever legislation they come up with - WITH amendments that are killing us. Then, Congress has more money printed to fund this *** further weakening the dollar (which accounts for 40% of the increase in gas prices.) Over 90% of us don''t like what they''re doing but it''s not My guy, it''s YOUR guy that we don''t like. People, here''s a news flash: IT''S ALL OF THEM! IT''S YOUR GUY, IT''S MY GUY, IT''S THEIR GUY! They constantly berate one another and call each other "friend." Always, always, always, their first order of business is to ensure their RE-election NOT US!!! They vote their own salaries, they give themselves special tax credits and deductions, they enjoy the richest ''retirement'' programs that kick in when they leave office after a mere 5 years at more than full salary, they have the best health care in the Universe at no charge, and they invariably leave office wealthier than they enter. The People''s number 1 issue? Border Security. Why have none of them done anything? Forget about the Palin stuff... our country is literally being over-run and will be gone in 40 years. It will be gone in a whiff of welfare entitlements and third world mentality as they continue to pour into America.

Folks, we''ve seen this "tax the other guy" thing before. The 1991 luxury taxes on cars and boats, etc. signed by George the Elder as the price for the Gulf War resulted in a depressed economy in 1992. Then, Carville was able to run "It''s the Economy, Stupid" to help elect Clinton who then went on to sign the 1993 tax on everybody from the Womb to the Tomb. By the way, the "Middle Class Tax Cut" promise came from Bill Jeff when he was running in 1992, so we''ve heard this one before, too. After the 1994 election results came in, our POTUS bit his lower lip and opined that maybe he shouldn''t have increased the taxes that much.
Now, just how does Barack Obama think he is going to get five percent of the population to carry the load for the rest of us?

Recent polls have shown that 80+ percent of Americans believe our government has taken us in the wrong direction over the past 8 years. So why would those same 50 percent of the 80 percent of Amercans vote for McCain knowing full well that since he voted with Bush 90 percent of the time he would continue traveling the same wrong path for at least another 4 years? If this polling is accurate, how can these same 50 percent actually vote McSame? Or should I say that despite this 80 percent stating one thing to pollsters, [rather than the CHANGE which they also state they want], they would rather continue on this wrong path since it is safe and familiar to them despite it being DANGEROUSLY DIASTROUS AND DAMAGING. As one of the 80 percent of Americans who stated that out country is on the wrong path, I will NOT vote for McSHAME/PALIN [both of whom are completely unqualified; him due to dementia and her due to lack of intellect), but will instead vote for the CHANGE WE SO DESPERATELY NEED TO GET OFF THIS WRONG PATH and that vote will be for Obama/Biden! At least with intelligence, cool heads and common sense we stand a better chance of finding a safe, more secure and better future for our children and grandchildren!

I have voted Republican in every election since I was 18 years old- 7 in total. However, with the addition of Governor Palin to the ticket I can no longer vote Republican. I hope the RNC realizes that for every vote Mrs. Palin brings in to the Party there are those like my 22 year old daughter and myself who will no longer be voting red. I have no doubts that Gov. Palin can work and raise her children. I don''''t think that is under dispute. I just think that Mrs. Palin''''s beliefs set women''''s right back a number of years- and that is something I can not live with. Over the next few years there will be a change in a number of Supreme Court Justices and although that decision will be President McCain''''s (should he be elected), I would assume he would ask her counsel- or that even, she possibly could be President, and her ultra-conservative beliefs are too radical for these women. Since Senator Obama has said he would uphold Sen. Clinton''''s stance on women''''s rights, he will secure my vote and that of my daughter and my grandmother. I hope the RNC is happy.

I''m confused by your views - unless you dont eat, sleep, watch tv, read, shower, etc then you dont have to be concerned about how business impacts your life. The industrial revolution is what brought us advances in medicine and technology - improving all of our lives. And you are very naive if you think you think that simply by talking to people all the world''s problems will be solved. You cant defend yourself against crazy people or bullies by talking.

Obama claims his proposal would lower taxes for 95% of Americans. Over 43 million tax returns, one-third of all filed, already pay $0. Obama says his plan would eliminate income taxes for an additional 10 million taxpayers. What he is really proposing, therefore, is not tax relief but a bald transfer of cash - $1,000 per family, he pledges - from the wealthiest Americans to everyone else.

I cannot believe that the liberal Dems, are so afraid of Palin. OBAMA is the one that started all those negative attacks on MCCain, M,is only defending himself, and the Dems can''t stand it. OBama really lies about the *** ed. act for K children. The *** educators are now going into the classroom, with a *** Curriculuum, asking children "What do your parents call your private parts." the children go home and tell their parents are lying, already causing the children to not believe their own parents. Then they play a circle game naming their private parts. These so call *** Educators, read the children books i.e. "The King and King." "Heather has two Moms" and Heather has Two Dad''s. This is *** Education. Since they have passed the abortion act. more children 12-13 have had abortions, their has been some who have had abortions, even if they were not pregnant. About 95% of the girls that go to parent planning already have a sexually transmitted disease. Parents wake up and find out what is happening in your schools. These parent planners tell them it''s OK to have *** as long as it is safe, just don''t tell your parents. They even give these girls low dose birth control pills, which at times don''t even work for a lot of girls. Didn''t OBAMA, say at a interview that Michelle, even read these books to her children. look at HiDi.org and Issuesineducation.gov
