Republicons are the pisss on the US Contitution Fascist Party. ConDumbs still believe that the USA is somehow a Christian nation, although God differs with this outrageous assumption. I do like the teachings of my fellow liberal Jesus, but I can not tolerate the Southern White Baptistview of Christianity. John McCain is also a Southern Baptist (phony).

I think the poster was hoping for a leader who took us back to the intent and meaning of our Constitution. The system championed by the Great John Kennedy in that he had beliefs but he would not allow those beliefs to get in the way of his doing his job as a representative of ALL the people. That is what BUSH did and it really served us badly!!

If Kennedy was President today you''d hate him MORE than Bush! LOL! Bush is NO WHERE as militaristic or authoritarian as Kennedy was.

The good old days never were.

This is going to be more fun to watch than anything in recent years. Here''s McSame, trying desperately to distance himself from his party and the loser who leads it now, being told by the American Taliban to toe the line. LOL Now for those of you who don''t know it the "Leader" being interviewed here and his organization were the one''s who produced and taught the "Equal but Different" ideals during my youth! So does he give in to these losers, which will almost certainly loose him the Election or does he show he''s truly a Maverick. LOL I know from personal experience that these people do not take well to change, case in point, they just recently removed the "Equal but Different" fraud from their teachings.

We''''ve had 8 years of the "Conservative Chritian''''s Choice" in Presidents. It was a TERRIBLE decision. We won''''t allow the same type mistake THIS time...

There is nothing worse than a Southern Baptist. They want women to be subservient to men - so why would he want a woman with five kids to be Vice President. Makes no sense to me - unless she would just get votes and then step back and let the men run things.

All these evangelicals who supported Regan - who never appeared very religious to me - and who supported George W - got their men elected but sure didn''t get their issues attended to.

By the way, I agree with you on Nancy Pelosi! I don''t care for her, either!

I''m hoping Californians do the correct thing and replace her, she an impediment to progress!

Liberals are basically dumb, paranoid, cowardly people who would rather bow down to other nations and let them run rough-shod over us or apologize to them for offending them rather than doing the right thing.

You have interesting opinions, Vinny!

I suggest the next time you''re at work, that you look around the room, tent, or barracks! Approximately 80% of your co-workers are cowardly, liberals! Uh-huh.

This is approximately the same number as the general population minus ten percent or so!

Yeah, Americans are out there fighting in Iraq, and they might win Iraqis freedom of some sort, but it''s mostly liberals that are/or will win that freedom and NOT neocons OR conservatives! I know this is galling to all the nutjobs posting on this site---but it''s the FACTS and not spin!

I am currently stationed in Iraq and I am a member of the LDS faith and I can tell you we don''t really care what Richard Land and his false, man-made church think. I think what amuses me the most is how fired up liberals get when Mitt Romney is mentioned. He absolutely terrifies them because they know he can fix what is wrong economically with our country. Liberals are basically dumb, paranoid, cowardly people who would rather bow down to other nations and let them run rough-shod over us or apologize to them for offending them rather than doing the right thing. I wouldn''t pee on that botoxed, cracked out of her mind Nancy Pelosi if she was on fire unless I had recently drank some gasoline. And Harry Reid, an embarrassment to my faith. B. Hussein Obama is the wolf in sheep''s clothing. If he is permitted to hold the Presidency our nation will again be attacked within 10 months. Count on it. McCain would do well to select either Mitt Romney or Bobby Jindal. If either of these two don''t make the cut, I hope he selects Cantor. Mike Huckabee is as bigoted as Richard Land and if you really want to know the character of Huckabee, just watch some news clips he is in with his wife. He always has this sour, disinterested look on his face when he is around her. That tells me all I need to know about him. But, hey, keep it up liberals. Your McCain and Romney bashing makes great bathroom reading. You guys are hysterical, we almost pity you.

Let''s see:

1. Mr. Land says he doesn''t endorse candidates?! SINCE WHEN?!! LOL!

2. After saying that, he goes on to endorse the GOP governor of Alaska---Palin.

3. He''s not interested in the politics? Yet, he can tell the interviewer whom other evangelical leaders are going to support! YES! That sounds like total disinterest to me!

I will stop there. This interview speaks VOLUMES of what is wrong with the evangelical movement in general. Primarily, it''s leaders views of the religion are warped and their ability to integrate those views with secular society are also warped! Consequently, you end up with a case of ''the blind leading the blind''!

These religious nuts are America''''s Taliban. They have no place in American politics. These years of Bush should have taught us that! Look what religion in government has done to America! Unending purposeless wars, a record surplus squandered, record debt still building and failure to tend the basic functions of government in favor of regulating of the nation''''s intimate relations.

These religious nuts are sick people and have no business telling a nation how to conduct itself. RELIGION POISONS EVERYTHING!

Richard Land: "...I do not believe Mormonism is a Christian faith."

I do not claim to be an official spokesperson for the church. However, as a baptized ''Mormon'' I believe that I may have a better grasp of my church%u2019s teachings and my own beliefs. :)

1. The official name of our church is, "The Church of JESUS CHRIST of Latter-day Saints." Please see: http://newsroom.lds.org/ldsnewsroom/eng/style-guide

2. Our 1st Article of Faith states, "We believe in God, the Eternal Father, and in His Son, JESUS CHRIST, and in the Holy Ghost." To see the other 12 articles please go to: http://scriptures.lds.org/en/a_of_f/1

3. As a part of our baptismal covenant, we take upon ourselves the name of Christ. The baptismal prayer is as follows: "Having been commissioned of JESUS CHRIST, I baptize you in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Amen."

4. We pray always to God, the Father, in the name of JESUS CHRIST.

5. Our church has a quorum of Twelve Apostles specifically called as witnesses of JESUS CHRIST. To see the document these official spokesmen have signed, "The Living Christ: The Testimony of the Apostles of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints,%u201D please go to: http://jesuschrist.lds.org/SonOfGod/eng/

There is so much more I could offer as evidence of our love for and our devotion to Jesus Christ. As to whether or not I am a good Christian--a true follower of Christ--ultimately, God will be the judge of that. :)

Telephone logs recorded by the National Security Agency and obtained by Congress as part of an ongoing investigation suggest that the vice president may have used the Oval Office intercom system to address President Bush at crucial moments, giving categorical directives in a voice the president believed to be that of God%u2026

While journalists and presidential historians had long noted Bush%u2019s deep faith and Cheney''s powerful influence in the White House, few had drawn a direct correlation between the two until Tuesday, when transcripts of meetings that took place in March and April of 2002 became available%u2026 In a transcript of an intercom exchange recorded in March 2002, a voice positively identified as the vice president''s identifies himself as "the Lord thy God" and promotes the invasion of Iraq, as well as the use of torture in prisoner interrogations. .. longtime friend of Cheney was asked to comment on the vice president''s possible subterfuge- "I do know that Mr. Bush was unfamiliar with a phone-based intercom, and I suppose it is possible that *** took advantage of that."

Richard Land seems like a phony to me. Anyone that can say Romney is a excellent choice is not a true conservative.

How can Romney be a excellent choice? He spent over $124 million to campaign and ended up getting less electoral votes than Huckabee who only spent some $12 million. Plus Huckabee ended up in the black with a profit whereas Romney was in the red with millions of debt.

Again I say, how can Romney be a excellent choice? He can''t even balance the books at a lemonaide stand but yet some what him to be McCain''s VP. What a joke! So your telling me you want a guy who can''t balance his own budget be the financial wizard for America?? What are you totally joking??

I think Richard Land and his friends at Club for Growth (or I meant Club for Greed) must be great friends.

Really now! Romney? He can''t balance his own budget, he fires thousands of people at his company so he can take in millions in salary, he flip flops more than popcorn poping and he bashed McCain like he was a nobody. Romeny is absolutey not a choice for VP at all, I''d rather have Paris Hilton than Romney as VP!

Don''t get the wool pulled over your eyes from Richard Land being a conservative. Romney IS NOT a conservative at all!
