- Forbes lies like a pro. Obama has not voted for tax increases 94 times. That was debunked by the NY Times several days ago.

- McCain is not Bush. Just because McCain has some same ideas as Bush does not mean McCain is another Bush. McCain has a different way of approaching his ideas. To say McCain is a Bush is like saying every Muslim is a terrorist. This is stereotyping at its finalist.

- This is just soooo funny! Now the repugs are all desperate to distance themselves from their "great leader", Bush!
Not only are they trying hard to NOT appear to be like Bush, but they''re also trying to claim that the Democratic nominee IS just like Bush! How ins.ane is that?
Face facts, repugs: the GOP record, the Bush record, the neocon record, is a record of utter failure, death and destruction, and the obliteration of everything that once made this country great. You can try to run from that record, but you can''t hide it. - Reply to this comment
- I guess we''re back to the notion of ''voting for the lesser of two evils'' situation in many people''s eyes. Look, I don''t expect Obama to suddenly change and fix everything, but I know I want someone in office who realizes that the republicon policies have failed america and I do not want another term of office for a guy like McSame who agrees about 95% with George Bush. The main reason I will vote for Obama is that the guy has worked in public service in Chicago fighting poverty and helping people in the projects. I think we need someone who has compassion towards the less fortunate, caring about more than just the richest 1%, leading our nation, instead of the ''let them eat cake'' attitude of the republican party. Besides, if they were just two sides of the same coin, why are wall street d-bags like Forbes trying to shove McCain down our throats?

- dumb republicon says McSame isn''t Boosh...WRONG.
"by recognizing the importance of reducing the burden of taxation, among other things. That is the key to getting the economy back on track again."
That''s right out of Boosh''s trickle down scheme. Idiot republiconvict, we''ve seen this movie over and over, and know the end by now...jerk. - Reply to this comment
- "Steve McForbes: McCain Isn''t McBush"
Uh...yes he is McBush, actually.
98% backing of every McBush position says YES, he IS McBush. If Jorge McBush stops short, John McBush nose goes right in Jorge''s O.
Can''t tell where Jorge McBush ends and John McBush begins! - Reply to this comment
- Stop your crying about Repub''s the Dem''s like Nancy Lieberman wouldn''t take impeachment off the table for good reason Bush is not a Repub and nether is McCain none of the congress is what they say they are there all in a club for the bank''s and you voters wont wake up to it. It''s your fault voter the Dems and Repub''s are there for one reason only and that''s to take all they can from you and you all fail to see it.

- CitizenUSA: exactly! One of the big problems that we have in this country today is that those who have means in this country, who are wealthy, could look upon a dying hungry child, laugh, and light up a cigarette with a hundred dollar bill right in our face. They are un-american. If only we had more men like Thomas Jefferson in this nation. Unfortunately, those who already have would sell Lady Liberty down the river for just a bit more. THAT is what republicons stand for.

- raflin1, I couldn''t agree more. Hence, my reference to the fact that because of our stark differences in the way we view the political landscape, I no longer consider him a real "friend". As a matter of fact, when I campaigned for Kerry, he lost my respect when he supported Bush back then and lauded his efforts for "forced Democracy" in Iraq. I pointed out that NEVER IN HISTORY has Democracy been accepted through FORCE. He smiled and said "Oh Well, there''s always a first time!" My contempt for Bush''s adoption of this idealogy runs very deep. This Administration has mis used our trust and really should be held accountable.
