Mccain is now only behind by 4 points and closing in. I think the American Idol Obama is starting to fade like most Fads. Also with Obama being a Marxist doesnt help. America is the only true free country and with Obama we might be no diffrent than Cuba.

Just a moment to recognize and offer condolences to the family of Tony Snow. TONY SNOW IS DEAD, at age 53. May his family and friends find solace in their time of grief. I''''m surprised this was not the lead story or even mentioned yet on CBS.

I''m pleased to say Forbes is a friccking overwhelmingly wealthy repukons... He favors McCain for simple reason that McCain would let this snake into his public Drawers and coffers... so the trillionair Forbes becomes richer and the poor American becomes poorer!

Senator McCain''''s policies are geared toward helping the top 2% of the population, male or female, the same as Bush. McCain cannot win on these issues with low and middle class women. To have an estate tax to worry about, a woman (or man) now has to die with $2,000,000.00 (two million dollars) in assets. That leaves out every woman I know personally. The estate tax is irrelevant to most of us. Who are the Republicans kidding? They are still looking out for the super rich.

McCain voted with Bush 95% of the time in the past year.(more than any other Republican in the Senate). I would say it would be pretty hard to distance himself from Bush as much as he would like to try and as much as his supporters would like to believe that he wouldn''t behave very much like Bush once he got himself into the White House. He would have all the same people in there that Bush had, for example he has surrounded himself and his campaign with Karl Rove, et al, already.

Better find a new candidate while you still can Democrats. Anybody want to make a little bet about how many more times Obama sticks his foot in his mouth before the Convention??? (just kidding...about the betting part)

That reminds me, the press missed the one yesterday about Obama saying that kids should learn to speak Spanish and that he''s ashamed that most American''s can only speak one language? There they go with that being ashamed of America again. Too bad he wasn''t ashamed when his minister shouted, "GOD DAAAAAAM AMERICA",
......Oh yeh, and the issue of Obama''s patriotism.....look for it to come back, big time.

McCain is not Bush. Just because McCain has some same ideas as Bush does not mean McCain is another Bush. McCain has a different way of approaching his ideas. To say McCain is a Bush is like saying every Muslim is a terrorist. This is stereotyping at its finalist.

Face facts, repugs: the GOP record, the Bush record, the neocon record, is a record of utter failure, death and destruction, and the obliteration of everything that once made this country great. You can try to run from that record, but you can''''t hide it.

Amen. McCain has had his nose so far up Bush''s rear end for so long, that he can''t tell sh** from shinola. We have heard from these brain-dead Republicans for years how wonderful Bush is, and now that 80pct of Americans see him for the pathetic loser that he is, they are tripping all over themselves to get away from him. Worst president in the history of the US. McCain. BushIII

Steve Forbes: McCain Isn''t Bush

That''s probably true. McCain''s IQ is probably around 100, while Bush''s hovers in the low 80s.

What you fail to comprehend is that McCain, as early as last year, had different ideas than Bush. Then came the election and he changed all his positions to get elected. You comment that McCain is not Bush is nothing more than an illusion.
