I was making a statement that is a real possibility. You call me sick. I served my country for 20 years, have passed all psychological evaluations. Have you served your country ? Have you ever had to kill an enemy ? I am proud of my country but am wiorried about the ecomonic and political situation. IF problems are not addressed soon here at home we are not only going to be in a depression we will have a civil war. I do not want to see that happen. I write to my legislators and let them know how i feel. I vote in elections. I am looking for solutions to save this country not watch it go down the tubes.

Obama is the wrong choice. He cannot win. The DNC needs to nominate Hillary Clinton if they want to take back the White House.

I wonder if they saw breathing as one of his problems in the near future ? Posted by patriot12436 at 04:13 AM : May 24, 2008

Why is it that posters with "patriot" in their login name are some of the most vile, sickest, unpatriotic creeps on the internet?

72 year old John McBush running for a GW Bush 3rd term. How low will this PHONEY John McReagan go to get into the White House? McShames sellout to Corporate America and Republicon support of the needless War in Iraq are why we now pay $4 per gallon for gasoline. John McHagee, another bought and payed for Condumb in the pocket of corporatism.

"She only said what a majority of America is thinking. If they were smart hey would do it now while he is more accessible, after the election he will have so many secret service covering him it will look pathetic.

You are one sick individual and this comment just proves it. You represent the first and original racists and terrorists in this country. This election is proving people like you still exist. What a virus you are. Disgusting. And, I never said everyone who wouldn''t vote for Obama is a racist. I would say if someone is not a racist and doesn''t want to vote for Obama, they''d also be offended by your comments as well.

The problem with polls is they sway the way the person ants them to that is writing them. I think there will be a massive turnout to defeat obama, at least i hope there is.

I don''t think the racist has to be carrying an nra card, but i think you are right. I don''t think the white racist groups will tolerate a black president.

There you go again declaring everyone a racist if they are not going to vote for obama. I have said before his being a racists and a terrorist sympathyzer is my reasons for not voting for him. Give me a black candidate who isn''t a racists or terrorist sympathyzer and is qualified for the job and i will vote for him. The democrats had to pick this loser to represent them, they just gave away the election again.

The GOP also know a good portion of people are willing to vote against their own self-interests because they are stuck on the race issue. Nixon classically used this with his Southern Strategy. Reagan used it by starting his campaign in Philadelphia, Miss. where three civil rights workers had been brutally murdered. And slowly they put all the pressure of living onto the poor and middle class. It''s not accident that debt is a major issue today. Over the last 30 years the gap between the haves and the have nots have grown to a level not seen since the GREAT DEPRESSION. And, who controlled things leading up to the last GREAT DEPRESSION? The Republicans. Fortunately, people wised up then and refused to vote for a Republican for 30 years...during this time we saw the creation of the Middle Class in America. The GOP never wanted it.

If you like the Middle Class, thank a liberal.

"if you are barely middle class or low class, beware of the republicans....they will try to minipulate you by pushing your emotional buttons and assume you are too stupid to want to hear about all the issues.

the elite republicans will steal your vote and tell you not to vote for democratic "Elites" when they themselves are the elites of the republican party...

the irony is the so called elite democrats will propose programs to help the low class and it is the real elite republicans that will shoot those programs down - just look at the Congressional record.

if you are barely middle class or low cass and you vote for the republicans you are voting for a party thta does not look our for your best interest....they goal is to make the rich richer

That''s one of the best posts I''ve read in a long time. It is completely true. The GOP call the Democrats elites for proposing legislations to help the poor and middle classes...two groups not part of the GOP''s haves and have mores. (CONT''D)

I would not say decades but centuries. I wouldn''t even say it was renounced the civil rights movement would have meant renouncing it and many of the people who keep these arcane views decided to vote GOP because of it. Even LBJ said "we have lost the south because of the civil rights movement."

What''s helping Obama out is that he''s competing against a strident harpy within his own party and a senile old coot in the Republican party.

The only thing that Obama has going for him is that he has good speech writers working for him. In real life he is so dumb that he would bring a knife to a gun fight. If he is the Democrats nominee for president he will suffer the worst presidential defeat in the history of this country.

There is a flaw in the repub. approach to elections. they tell people how they should stand on there own, improve their way in life. The dims tell people"if you are low class, we are going to help you". Anyone knows that the majority are not of the wealthiest americans, how better to take back the White House than tell the majority "its about you low class people" then do nothing but collect the wonderful congressional benefits, the good life of the presidency and turn on the people who put you there.
Dims only want to tell you how bad you got it to achieve one thing control, the goal is not to benefit the "low class" it is to benefit those that are already wealthy, but telling you how they are going to give you a handout for your vote.
BO is/never was poor, HRC NOT, if you think they give a hoot about "low class" you are mistaken.
I would rather be helped to help myself than give my vote in hope of a handout.
