The indictment and plea agreement provide a preview for the scheme hatched to conceal Rezko''s assets from creditors through Obama''s secret Land Trust.

When announcing the arrests, Fitzgerald stated: "The new indictment is part of Operation Board Games, an ongoing federal public corruption investigation of insider-dealing, influence-peddling and kickbacks involving private interests and public duties related to various state boards and non-profit organizations."

Co-schemer Abdelhamid Chaib, is the former the director of Rezko Concessions. Blagojevich appointed Chaib''s wife to a position with the Department of Employment Security Review Board.

An exhibit presented to the jury shows Chaib contributed $10,000 to Blagojevich. Records show Obama received $5,000 from Chaib on June 30, 2003, the same day that Ata donated $5,000.

This indictment alleges that Rezko fraudulently caused General Electric Capital Corporation (GE), to extend more than $10 million in loans to finance what Rezko portrayed as sales of two different groups of Papa John%u2019s pizza restaurants in the Chicago and Milwaukee areas.

If anyone knows about how important it is to keep our troops out of harm way and bring them home to their families Its John McCain. Come on Obama was not even a cub scout. I don%u2019t know if he was a girl scout you would have to ask Larry Sinclair about that. But he was never in any branch of the U.S military. How in the he!! Can anyone ever think he could be commander in chief of our military troops? He!! That would be the same as putting a 10 year old boy on a professional FNL football team as Quarterback. Obama is nothing but a big mouth that has a good team of speech writers working and writing for him. In real life this guy is nothing but a Jerk off. McCain is a true blue American Hero.

This person purpose is for the sole reason to help push the idea of Hillary onto the ticket. The idea that somebody would be helped by putting someone who is dishonest and untrustworthy on the ticket with them is absurd.
Where is the context in the so called ''white vote'' problem. For crying out loud there are 2 dems in the picture that are sharing the vote. Guess what happens when one gets the nomination and the choice is Republicans for at least another 4 years or the Democratic nominee?
Everybody knows that once a candidate gets the official nomination they get a pretty good sized bump from that alone. Also Barack hasn''t been able to campain against McCain as he would in the general, because Hillary (according to her) has decided to stay in until all potential assassins have had their say.
So where is the context for how it looked for other candidates who went on to win? Weren''t people wondering if Bill Clinton would get enough of the white vote to win?
It is all a moot point anyway, If Republicons are counting the votes. What they did in Florida in 2000 and Ohio in 2004 was criminal.
Hopefully the small handful of people who did end up in jail because of election fraud will be a deterrent to the Repulicons this year.

Why aren''t these candidates talking more about education? Except for a few statements of support for programs for four-year-olds, not much has been said about education. As Colin Powell''s report has pointed out, we have enormous problem with high school drop outs. We keep falling further behind other countries. The kids in affluent areas get much better public school educations that the kids in poor areas. Our economy requires educated workers. We can decrease crime and poverty by improving our educational system; we must give the poor other options. A good education is essential to a good quality of life. Well-educated people make better citizens. Everything in our country is linked to our educational system. Why haven''t the candidates come up with a plan to improve our educational system?

Neither Obama nor McCain are that great.

Why are we choosing our candidates from the Senate? What has the Senate accomplished during the last few years? The Senate''s approval ratings are low just like the President''s. Neither Obama nor McCain has had the leadership skills needed to make the Senate productive. Neither Obama nor McCain is responsible for the passage of any legislation that has made any real difference to the economy, healthcare, education, global warming, dependence on foreign oil, or anything else of importance. Both candidates are part of the gridlock that is pervasive in Washington D.C.

Obama is too inexperienced. Obama can''t even win over Clinton''s supporters, how can he possibley win over the rest of the population?

McCain''s policies are too close to Bush''s failed policies. McCain did such a poor job choosing his campaign staff, that many have had to resign; how can we expect that as President McCain he would choose better people for his administration?

Neither the Republican Party or the Democratic Party is meeting the needs of the American people. We need a candidate that has a track record of success as a governor/mayor or business leader--somebody who is not part of the current mess in the beltway.

The question is if we want a man in the White House who will regularly give his ear to the likes of a Reverend Wright, his and Sabeel%u2019s replacement theologies, and pro-terrorist propagandists like Ali Abunimah on a regular basis? In one sense, Obama could be considered the ISM%u2019s Manchurian candidate given his wide connections to ISM activists and campaign movements such as the Wheels of Justice Tour, Joseph Carr a.k.a. Joseph Smith, Hannah Mermelstein, Anna Baltzer and others.

How ''blackness'' has figured in the Obama campaign

A Rolling Stone article linked him to the militant preaching of his pastor, the Reverend Jeremiah Wright. The article quoted the minister as saying in a sermon, "Racism is how this country was founded and how this country is still run."

Axelrod said he talked with Obama about taking Wright off the program for the campaign announcement in January 2007, arguing that his presence might distract from efforts to portray the senator as a candidate capable of unifying the country.

Obama agreed. Hours later, his speech on the steps of the Old Illinois State Capitol was sharply criticized by African-American academics, media celebrities and policy experts.

One of Obama Jr''s great grandfathers (several generations back), "Owiny" was said to be a powerful leader of the Luo tribe, which moved into Kenya some 400 years ago.

Sarah Obama, a devout Muslim, was quoted telling Obama Jr. "What your grandfather respected was strength. Discipline. This is also why he rejected the Christian religion, I think. For a brief time he converted [to Christianity], and even changed his name to Johnson. But he could not understand such ideas as mercy towards your enemies, or that this man Jesus could wash away a man''s sins. To your grandfather, this was a foolish sentiment, something to comfort women. And so he converted to Islam-he thought its practices conformed more closely to his beliefs."

the defense budget is nearly $100 billion lower today than when the Berlin Wall came down.

WHAT?

$870 billion today, versus a peak of $456.5 billion in 1987

And what created the huge debt under Reagan? he Reagan defense buildup was a hallmark of his presidency, a free-spending crusade that lifted the nation''s military industry out of the doldrums after the Vietnam War. He created a war-machine economy in a time of uneasy peace, with defense spending in amounts not seen since the heights of the Korean and Vietnam conflicts and sustained for longer than either of those wars.

"Dem Strategist Sees Challenges For Obama"

Challenges for obama:

1. He is ashamed to be part white.
2. His wife hates America (unless her husband
is winning).

Posted by rushlimpdrug

Obama is a Muslim
Obama is a racist
Obama is a hate monger

and now:

He is ashamed to be part white.
His wife hates America

The intent of all these false accusations is to raise doubt about the candidate. See the Karl Rove playbook - when you have no record to run on start making baseless accusations of your opponent - see also character assassination. If you have doubts about someone you are more likely to support the familiar, "more of the same" candidate.

Just keep in mind, if you want to keep getting what you are getting (the economy, Iraq, gas prices) keep doing what you are doing.

The Cato Institute:

from: Wikipedia

In the years immediately following the Republican Revolution, the Cato Institute was often seen as a standard-bearer of the U.S. conservative political movement. Barry Goldwater and Ronald Reagan, credited with reshaping and rejuvenating the Republican Party, and key contributors to the late-20th century conservative movement, were heavily influenced by libertarian ideals.

Despite this, the Cato Institute officially resists being labeled as part of the conservative movement because "conservative smacks of an unwillingness to change, of a desire to preserve the status quo".[21] Such tensions have become increasingly evident in recent years, as the Institute has become sharply critical of current Republican leaders.[22] The growing division may be attributable to Republican officeholders'' growing support of policies promoting government intervention in the economy and society, increased budgetary spending, and neoconservative foreign policies.

Cato scholars have also been strongly critical of the expansion of executive power under President George W. Bush[23], and his management of the Iraq War.[24] In 2006 and 2007, Cato published two books critical of the Republican Party''s perceived abandonment of the limited-government ideals that swept them into power in 1994.[25][26] For their part, only a minority of Republican congressmen supported President George W. Bush%u2019s 2005 proposal to partially privatize Social Security, an idea strongly backed by the Institute. And in the 109th Congress, President Bush''s immigration plan%u2014which was based on a proposal by Cato scholar Dan Griswold[27] %u2014 went down to defeat largely due to the eventual opposition of conservative Republican congressmen.[28]
Cato President Ed Crane has particular scorn for neoconservatism. In a 2003 article with Cato chairman William Niskanen, he called neoconservatism a "particular threat to liberty perhaps greater than the ideologically spent ideas of left-liberalism."[29] As far back as 1995, Crane wrote that neoconservatives "have a fundamentally benign view of the state," which Crane considers antithetical to libertarian ideals of individual freedom.[30] Cato''s foreign policy team have frequently criticized neoconservative foreign policy.[31]
