You are absolutely right ConDumism, we are not a democracy anymore, we are a fascist government. Definition of fascism = corporations run the government and use the government and the people to make a profit. They take away freedoms (wiretap, no habeas corpus, secret prisons, torture, etc.) And to keep privitizing only puts us more on that road. Thomas Jeffereson came up with the idea that if the people aren''t educated, this new country would fall. And it''s been shown to be proven true. They take funds and students away from our public schools with vouchers to private ones and make our public schools worse. Bring back some decent discipline rules to schools and make it so parents can afford to not work all the time and spend time with their kids and we''ll have a better country again.

The voters appear to be listening, but politics is run by corporate America and as long as that continues

Barack Obama is the ONLY CANDIDATE to address this autrocity in American politics. If elected, he has pledged to ban all special interests lobbyists (Corporate America, Israel) from the halls of Congress. America is not a democracy as long as these thugs control Congress.

Your first point renders you ignorant and not worth listening to. Stop the lies.

"Ron Paul, a Southern State Republicon Extremist will:
1. Eliminate Social Security"

Moron.

Fact is, Dr. Paul is the last hope we have to restore faith in our government from our citizens and nations around the globe. Nobody else currently running can be trusted in my opinion.

Hey kpokey, Ron Paul is right and you are wrong. The government agent has NO authority to mandate health care. There is NO grant of authority in the constitution. Do you want to ignore or destroy the constitution? If so, kiss your liberty goodbye. Ron Paul is the ONLY sane choice for president.

It is a known fact that the people who make the most sense, never finish first but dead last! Example? Look what happened to Ross Perot in 1992! He warned everyone about what would happen if NAFTA passed, but did anyone listen? NO! Now we have an economic mess that no politician wants to take responsibility for, but for which they are ALL (cowardly Democrats and Fascist Republicans) responsible!

Today, we have another voice of reason among the Fascist Republicans, but will they listen? NO! It''s the same with Dennis Kucinich in the cowardly Democratic race. Will anyone listen to him? NO!

The voters appear to be listening, but politics is run by corporate America and as long as that continues, we will only hear "whispers" of the voice of reason!

SIG HEIL, BUSH!!!

If you look at the European Union and see how well people there are taken care of in sickness and old age, you see that you don''t need to fear government run medicine, etc. I don''t know what the fear is. And in this country, private medicine has worked so terribly. 1/3 of people have no medical care/insurance. All these health companies get rich beyond belief and we suffer. And yet, people think privitizing everything and letting the "free market" run everything is the answer. Where would you rather be if you were poor, in Germany where socialized medicine will get you treatment for cancer without going into debt for the rest of your life or in the USA where we have privitized medicine and you are uninsured and can''t get treated? Privitizing is not the answer.

RON PAUL HAS BEEN GIVEN MORE CAMPAIGN CONTRIBUTIONS THAN ANY OTHER CANDIDATE, REPUBLICAN OR DEMOCRATIC. IF YOU DON''T SUPPORT HIM, YOU CANNOT SUPPORT OUR TROOPS.

Every so often our nation seems to drift away from our Constitutional moorage and likewise a real patriot will step up to the plate to put this in check. Ron Paul is this "man of the hour" that will do this. His voting record walk proves his campaign talk. I have heard hypocritical statesmen say we need a new constitution to live by. This attitude is far more dangerous to let grow than any war or issue we are entangled in. Folks! I have read good and plenty the writings of our founding fathers in regards to the issues of their day (nothing has changed since). If you think politicians are milk toast potlickers now, wait till you read up on the "quality" and "integrity" of the ones with whom we have to do concerning our national birth. And these politicians today act like they are so much wiser because of their increased knowledge that they alone can out trump Thomas Jefferson, Samual Adams, James Madison, etc..??? Knowledge is indeed the Sword of Good and Evil. And it will obey the name (national sovereignty, world globalism)of its wielder. Listen up Americans, the swords that our leaders have forged since 9/11/01 are double edged weapons, one side for terrorists, the other side for patriots. We can''t afford to let this sword be weilded by the wrong person.........Ron Paul, the "ONLY" un-CFR, unsocialist, and pro-constitution candidate for ''08! GO USA!!!

Amazing! It is apparently better to let the government bankrupt us all, rather than to let a proven free market approach let us all rest comfortably in our golden years? How sad to see socialism rear it''s ugly head in AMerica.

IF private firms ran Social Security like the government did, people would be in prison. Private firms are not allowed to spend money that belongs to other people.

Privatizing Social Security has to be a better idea than letting the politicians run it. If Social Security had been invested properly, the system would not be bankrupt now.

People are not too stupid to handle their own finances. My retirement funds and plans should belong to me.

Ron Paul is the only candidate that represents freedom. That''s enough for me.

I only have one problem with Ron, otherwise I like his ideas. My problem is the privitization of everything (Social Security, Medicare, etc.) If there is a problem with it, fix it, but don''''t privitize. As soon as you privitize, then a company who is run by families will try to make billions off of it. It becomes for profit. And the people will be gouged. The private companies lobby the government and the free market is no longer free.

See now that''s where you are wrong. Privatizing will not create a monopoly, it will generate low prices and competition. When people have the right to select what type of care they need or to manage their money they ususally fare better. Companies have to compete for our business. If Government controls your healthcare, knowing how well government handles all major crises like Katrina, you will be forced into a system that mandates full participation even if you don''t need it and less services when you do. I would be more fearful of big nanny government than private enterprise. The former enslaves you, the latter emboldens you.

I''m a life-long democrat but I like this guy so much, if I thought he stood a chance of actually winning, he''d get my vote! What a shame that this country never really gets what it needs and is good for the country and its people, instead of what is popular. Unfortunately, I believe that Hilliary will be the next president but I liked her better as a First Lady before she became a "politician".

This guy is a true hero!! AMAZING!! Any life long member of the Republican party should ashamed what Bush and the leaders in Congress these past 14 years have done to the party. The truth is it began with Reagan. Where the party leadership would say one thing to please the people and do another behind the scenes to please their own agenda.

Ron Paul is the last hope for the few remaining middle-class Americans...he''s the only way common citizens will ever take power back from the fascists and corporatist hegemony who rule this country.
