The lefties probably won''t be happy until the US is ruled in its foreign policy by the UN and its economic policy by the EU.

And they say conservatives are traitors.

That''s normal - the average moron in the US would rather believe in an empty sound bite who is going to lead the US into the Third World than hear the truth.

Bush was the perfect puppet for manipulation by outside forces necessitaed by corporate america. IF he would have been a tenth as smart as he tried to convince not only himself but us as well, he would have had a much better legacy than the one he has now. The magic of misdirection works here due to media control coupled with smoke and mirrors. This is why people hate discussing religion & politics at family gatherings but still do, you know, like what they say about frutose and corn syrup....

Have all of you infantile lefties finished your name-calling or do we have to endure more of it. I thought attacking people about their physical characteristics would have finished about fourth grade.

But in our December, 2008 poll, there was a 50-point gap in the way Democrats and Republicans viewed President Bush. Fifty-seven percent of Republicans continued to approve of how George W. Bush was handling his job, while only seven percent of Democrats did!
************************************
And here lies the problem. By any measuring stick,
Bush has been a failure, and Republicans are responding positivily, ONLY because he is a Republican. That is so unpatriotic that it is pitiful. Since when did party come before America.

Right on! If any person can look at the job Bush has done in office and say "Yeah way to go", then I guess we can truthfully see the results of the ****-poor American education system.

I see the usual left-wing bigots are contributing to this blog.

I see part of the President''s unpopularity due to the self-fulfilling prophesy of the left-wing media. Many in the media had it in for him for the whole eight years. I admit he made mistakes, he destroyed the language and he appeared to have a smirk at inappropriate times. In this way, I compare him with LBJ.

What is surprising is that the popularity of Congress is lower than it is for the President, despite the lack of a negative media spin. Perhaps the American public is not fooled all of the time.

Anyone following the hijinks of Bush''s tiny mind for the past fifteen years (starting out in the foul cesspool of Texas politics) could have predicted that his presidency would be a disaster. His is the cautionary tale of a man who had neither the intelligence or character to become president, the morons who put him in the White House for two terms, and the enormous damage he (they) did.

In my view this is called popularity. Bush is more popular than Christ or Mohamed.

Nobody really cares what fake Liberal polls say, CBS.

And President Bush reminded you many times that he did not make decisions based upon polls - that''''s why America succeeded in Iraq, instead of failing like Liberals wanted to do.

But speaking of polls, CBS is always at the bottom of viewship polls - is that because they have continually whined about President Bush for 8 years?

I"ve checked CNN,ABC,FOXNEWS,ETC,ETC. The only media outlet that mentions Bushs approval rate is CBS. Is it because CBS is the FarLeftWing outlet that most supports terrorists or is it because they are dumb and didnt noticed that Bush chose not to be populist like HUGO CHAVEZ?

It took eight years of a disastrous Bush presidency to alert the American electorate to the utter bankruptcy of Republican rule in this country. It appears that they are incapable of rehabilitation. May they long be out of power.

Bush''s tactics were low. The people who stayed with him were low. The ones that had any morals, or ethical standards resigned or got fired. Low is as low does. Good riddance. My our children remember the Shrub only as a weed...

Bottom line: Bush''s economic philosophy was ''lasseiz faire'' (hands off). Other than cutting taxes (and Fed monetary policy), you don''t do anything. YOU DON''T EVEN WATCH AS IT DEVELOPS DANGEROUS INSTABILITIES AND BUBBLES GROW AND POP.

Laws were changed during the Clinton era (GOP congress) that relaxed oversight of bankers. The point is, for eight years Bush refused to see what this was doing... because he wasn''t watching. And THAT''s how we got where we are economically. The problem isn''t Bush, its the GOP ''hands off'' philosophy toward business, that led to the derivatives super-bubble that we''re now bailing out.
