CBS News' Kathy Frankovic Examines The Possibility That The "Bradley Effect" Is Skewing The Polls In The Presidential Race
- I have many black friends and I voted for Keys when he was making his bid for the white house. Very intelligent man. Blacks hated him because he was a republican and he told them to wake up and stop blaming everyone else for their own shortcomings. If Obama were a republican they would hate him. It is reverse discrimination. The blacks will vote for Obama because they see it as finally taking over the white man and they are going to expect Obama to up the free hand outs to them. My black friends believe the same thing. Black people want a free ride without having to sacrafice. They want an apology from people for slavery.....i don''t remember ever owning a slave...so I need to apologize why? I don''t recall anyone in the past 100 years being owned as a slave. The arrogance that is potrayed by most black people discusts me. And what discusts me more is that allot of white people seem to be on a crusade to help the poor black people better themselves. You think they want your help? No they want you gone. I can''t help but be bitter at someone for taking a job away from another person just because of their skin color. If your qualified and have the better resume then you should get the job. There are so many other things that could be said. They have no honor in themselves. They have had plenty of well educated black men and women for role models and they still have the highest crime rate and they still act as if they are owed something. I owe you nothing.

- Ah..... the children among you. Your time will come when you learn to think for yourselves and not post the drivel of others. Thank someone or something that allowed you here to demonstrate your ignorance. Someday you will contribute something meaningful to a post. Always remember that time is on your side and it is not your fault you have not lived long enough....is it? HKettlehake

- If I were the McCain campaign, I would actually worry about a "reverse Bradley effect". There are two choices, an intelligent black man or a senile 72 year old.

- Whites who think blacks are lazy or [fill in whatever negative here] should actually WANT Obama as president. Obama is a great role model for any race. He started out poor, got a fabulous education, took on a worthy first career, and has succeeded beyond anybody''s wildest dreams. Well, isn''t this exactly what a lot of whites say they think blacks ought to do -- take advantage of their opportunities and get ahead? As a white woman, I''m impressed by Obama''s intelligence, family orientation, and hard work. And I''m disgusted by Palin''s dishonesty about her record and views and her inability to think seriously. She makes Obama look better by the day.

- billarynfl,
I will have to go back and look at some of the old post''s from previous stories here on CBS. I was in a library when I was a part of the debate so unfortunatly I do not have the history of that on my PC. But I will get you a site for that. Please bare with me while I hunt for it - Reply to this comment
- For example take the Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac issue. You all scold Obama for taking money, yet conveniently leave the part about John McCain also getting money. Why is this??

I''m not sure about McCain getting money from it, if so please provide a link to support the accusation so we can know what your talking about.
Second, McCain and bush both stood up in congress and warned about this event happening, nobody listened. Sounds familiar around here too. - Reply to this comment
- If Obama wins we will see a celebration among blacks that will rival their glee when OJ got away with killing Nicole and Ron.
If he loses.........................riots............ - Reply to this comment
- I don''''t know why people try to tell others how to be/think. If someone is or is isnt Racist that not anyone bussness but their own. calling someone a racist is an attempt to control others!

- So, what you people are now telling us is that because two of Obama''s friends are Racist, that he is racist too? I am guessing that since McCain has Racist supporters that McCain is also racist right?
Give me a break. You guys are never going to get over this topic and therefore your never going to even give obama the slight second to see what he is all about. You guys only hear what you want and don''t get the whole truth..
