A letter to Obama:

"With HRC on the ticket--Obama should change his platform since it would be a lie...any suggestions?

How about from "Change we can believe in or yes we can"

To "In it, to win it--or Anything to win?" "

The new polls should show how many Obama supporters will defect if he puts HRC on the ticket and that number can be added to the ones from HRC that say they will not vote for him no matter what.

I would seriously consider not voting for Obama if he puts HRC on the ticket. It would be a fool hardy trainwreck and would imply voting for Clinton for President by proxy with Obama as a token or water boy.

Please don''''t vote for Amnesty Juan MCcain. A vote for Juan MCcain is a vote for total amnesty for over 12 million illegals. Do you really want everything american to start vanishing and everything in this country becoming spanish? Vote american, vote Obama! I was originally an Edwards supporter, but I could have tolerated Romney or Hucabee over Obama because atleast Romney and Huckabee never voted for Amnesty like Juan MCcain has. IF Amnesty Juan Mccain is what the republicans want, then a Republican loss in November is the only way for conservatives to take back their party from Amnesty Juan MCcain!

Obama. Clinton and McCain have the same take and position on illegals and amnesty. You may have reasons to vote for Obama (I''ll probably vote for him) but claiming a different position on amnesty for illegals would be a lie. Both he and Clinton have said that the illegals must stay and be incorporated into the country. One key note: ONly McCAin had the balls to stand up and let his vote on immigration be counted--Clinton and Obama ABSTAINED in that vote. Hispanics should remember this--Do they want a friend who stands up for them or one who pretends to and winks at both sides, then when in office, votes them in?

Gee, Kathy Frankovic THINK you might have left a little something out of your info? Are you a Clinton supporter? You FORGOT the other side of the equation:

If Obama puts Hillary on the ticket--what kind of gain would he get and what benefit in having some/most of her supporters on board?

Now...If Obama puts Hillary on the ticket--what about his supporters now? The ugly truth is many ( some say as many as 40%?) of Obama supporters now, do NOT want HRC under any circumstances and say they will either be very angry and may not vote or will vote McCain in protest?

Would they? If they would--the REAL question is, not only what Obama stands to gain if HRC is on the ticket--but what and who he stands to lose...

Decisions. Decisions. To put someone on the ticket and gain a large portion of their following (and their habits and demands and ire and need for placating) or place someone on the ticket that causes him to potentially LOSE a large portion of his loyal following, because he lied about change and was politics as usual, or because they detest HRC and her vile campaign strategies so much so see her as poison.

Obama has to decide if he is the change candidate after all--if Hill goes on the ticket--he needs to find a different platform.

"What of any substance has Obama ever achieved legislatively ?

Well, for one thing- he DIDN''''''''T vote for the Iraq War, OR Homeland Defense.

Just to name a another one ...
voted for H.R. 2831; Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act of 2007 (McCain, already nominated, was too busy to care to vote on it).

The only way the VP matters is if they pick Hillary. That would doom Obama and give the election to McCain. Obama isn''t dumb enough to pick that witch!

But mostly the impact is less than that. Gore%u2019s choice of Connecticut Senator Joe Lieberman, narrowed the gap between him and George W. Bush from 15 points to 10 points. *** I hate Lieberman! He cost us the 2000 election! Why didn''t Gore go with ANYONE else!

In 2004, Democrat John Kerry%u2019s chose John Edwards, who had finished second to Kerry in the primaries. After the addition of the former North Carolina Senator, the Kerry-Edwards ticket had a five-point edge over Bush-Cheney, whereas before picking Edwards, Kerry had led Bush by just two points.
