Everyone is talking about Rush so maybe he''s accomplishing what he wants. He, and people like him, are fed by those who love and hate him. Indifference is his biggest threat.

If there were no comments posted, or better yet no such article written in the first place, then I would agree with the premise of the article.

Newsflash for you Rush-haters, he does a good job reading articles about him in the media (especially negative ones). He is probably reading some of these comments right now (hello, Rush)... he is feeding on your negativity.

If you really dislike him, you will stop feeding him. I, however, think he is entertaining even when I disagree with him, so by all means keep feeding him (metaphorically speaking).

am greatly offended by the poster who said truck drivers, taxi drivers, and security guards listen to Rush because they do meanial jobs and are uneducated. I for one am a security guard, i hold a bachelors degree in Political Science and am currently attending Law School. Police Officers listen to Rush as well and many of them hold Bacchelors degrees in Criminal Justice as well as masters degrees. I even know a Sheriff''''s Deputy who holds a masters in education. So the moron who posted that should check his/her facts before posting such garbage. By the way I listen to all radio talk shows because I as an EDUCATED person seek differing viewpoints and commentary. Does that mean iI subscribe to the rhetoric that these hosts put out? The answer is not always.
