Posted by RowdyTexan2 lol, so you think just vote the Neocons back in and let them just finish bringing the country down to the bottom of ruin!!!

Now that makes sense.

And you belive that a Democrat will abandon the troops with an untimely withdrawal..Now that''s just dumb denial!

"But we DID know that the information was false - you said as much before, that Hillary was acting out of fear, not logic . . .

Anyway, rationalizations are made out of fear rather than logic as well, so this conversation isn''''t going anywhere . . .

No we didn''t, those people who voted against the authorization did so for reasons other than knowledge that the information was false. No one found out that info was false until we were over there and there was nothing but sand under that sand.

The reasoning for going to war was based on a perceived imminent threat. The reason for not going to war was based on an abhorrence of war or an abhorrence of a preemptive strike but not based on any knowledge that the intelligence was false.

In the end it doesn''t really matter how Hillary voted or how Obama might have voted, they are both against the war and have been for several years. I''m hoping that Obama gets the nod in the end but if not I''ll gladly vote for Hillary because the alternative is a vote backwards.

Obama wasn''''t a senator at the time so he had no vote to give or defend.
