I don't think it's just Bush fatigue, I think it's right wing fatigue. That's why candidates such as McCain you are running with the idea that they're a more competent Bush are going to be sadly disappointed. The American people are not going to settle for a republican who just runs as far away from BUSH as possible, but rather one that runs as far away from his failed foreign/domestic policy as possible. we don't want a more efficient right wing/religious based government, we want it to go away altogether.

It's not Bush fatigue, it's GOP fatigue.

The gophers can dig a hole to climb into. It won't matter. America has wisened up. We will no longer tolerate the shenanigans of Bushco and the republican party. I don't think we will tolerate any crapola from the dems either. By the people-for the people.

I agree with space poet. Except it's gotta be closer to 100%, since almost 80% disagree with The Decider and are fatiqued, and the other 20% are fatiqued trying to justify or rationalize with what he is doing.

Bush fatigue - that's a nice way to put it.
I would have used the other f-word.

We've reached that stage in the relationship between Bush and the public where the fundamental distrust of the person outweighs all political considerations. As Congressional Democrats are finding out with Bushes' immigration bill, which they in principal support, nobody in the public or in other parts of the government, or in foreign governments, believes Bush and his administration have any competence or commitment to follow through on agreements. Neither Congressional Democrats nor Republicans, neither Israelis nor Europeans nor Arabs, see any political benefit to be gained in making agreements with this man or his ministers. No political acts of this government will move forward now until Bush is replaced, or at least an election makes clear who his successor will be...
