Because he lost 4 different times, the recount, the canvasing board, the lower court and the Supreme Court, geez, even a hypocrite loser like Coleman can get tired of losing. - Reply to this comment
- Speaking of clowns, we've got another one now and MN will become an even greater laughing stock than when we had Jessie. I understand and accept the decision, but sure wish somehow we had had an alternative that wasn't an offensive commedian, a clown, or a politician. Believe it or not country, MN does have reasonable, talented, respectful, intelligent citizens. Unfortunately, we never seem to be able to convince any of them to join the circus of national politics!

- Exactly.
Only a Republican would argue about why they should concede after losing an election.
They are truly enemies of the Republic. - Reply to this comment
- Some guy murders someone and flees to Mexico and gets a guarantee by some jurisdiction that has capital punishment as a penalty for that exact kind of murder when commited by anyone else, that capital punishment will be taken off the table as a condition for extradition instead of just arresting him, and that qualifies as enforcement of the equal protection clause of the U.S. Constitution directing this for the states.
Why exactly again does the precise technology by which a vote is recounted, given Minnesota's extensive conditions for checking various ballot types and conditions, do to violate the equal protection clause for an individual voter, because man oh man, when life and death decisions aren't protected, I'm missing the point entirely.
There has to be something here I can use to defend myself against being ticketed for speeding by a traffic camera as opposed to a police officer using radar as opposed to a police officer tailing me. - Reply to this comment
- For the same reason Moussavi in Iraq conceded (just without the torture and beat downs, as far as we know)

- Why Coleman CONCEDED? Is this some kind of mind-boggling joke?
Indeed, as much as Coleman?s camp said that voters were being disenfranchised, his legal arguments failed to resonate the way similar arguments did in Bush v. Gore in 2000.
BTW, oh ridiculously extremely biased ones, the legal arguments for Bush v. Gore failed to resonate at all past a December 12 deadline via the U.S. Supreme Court. So, I guess you are so right in saying that a EIGHT MONTH legal challenge before declaring the winner certainly didn't resonate the same way, at least not with the "liberal" Supreme Court. - Reply to this comment
- Because, if he had taken this circus one step further he might as well go home and put on his clown suit and funny nose.
