- Yes Stuart, I am happy. Well at least 95% of the time. If I weren't so ornery, probably more. But then again, I enjoy my ornery side, so that must be a different shade of happy

- I wasn't too surprised to hear that Obama uses Jesus in his daily vocabulary. Since the election, I have been quite gratified for Obama's win and catch myself using Jesus in my own daily expressions. Here are a few examples:
Jesus Christ!! when will the state of Minnesota finally seat Al Franken in the US Senate as their elected representative?
Jesus Christ!!! why is it taking so long for this economy to turn around?
Jesus Christ!! those bankers actually raised their interest rates to their credit account holders to 29-36% and got healthy enough to return their tarp money and get their multimillion dollar bonuses!!!
Jesus Christ!! Rush Limbaugh and Osama Bin Laden still hide away in their little corners making tapes and videos that spread hatred like a two of a kind!! When will everyone realize there is no difference between those two?!?!? - Reply to this comment

- This is actually an important point. The President has claimed, repeatedly, that he is a Christian. Has he stated that, "Jesus is Lord", in public? I don't think so, and for good reason. He's the President of the United States. He's not the President of a Christian group, he represents ALL Americans.
Those that mock his overtures to the Muslim world should take note, he's not proclaimed Mohammed his mentor either.

Exactly. It is quite telling that the "christians" are getting more shrill in their opposition to Obama as he continues to mention Jesus in speeches. I wonder why that is? Maybe because he is not their "kind" of christian? - Reply to this comment
