The view of Ms. Pelosi as a deficient spokeswoman for her party was buttressed during an appearance on NBC's "Meet the Press" earlier this month, which centered largely on what Democrats would do if they won the House. Political insiders of both parties judged her performance as shaky, uncommanding and defensive.

I work for a lady that is just like Pelosi, her way is the only way. Dont know how she got the promotion. She talks down to all of us, comes in late, takes 2 hours for lunch & lies about everything. She has the best house, car & has a 15 year old spoiled brat that gets everything she wants, even a car at 15 for Christmas & has already lost the car keys. Raises her voice to all of us. She even turned me into H-R for sometihing i didn't do. How do we get rid of these ladies, I just have a hard time understanding how they get in management. B---- is the right name for them
Nancy Pelosi has to be the dumbest one white woman to ever draw a breath! Way to go Heath! I only wish there were more Blue Dog Democrats. God only knows they are the only Democrats with even a little sense!
I am very proud to say Heath is my Congressman! And I hope he kicks Nancy's a-- --!
This woman has got to go. She is vindictive and manipulative. If there is one thing that we voters can come together on it is this. Vote her out of office completely. We don't need people in office who have their own personal agenda as their number one priority.
I realize she isn't the only one, but definitely the most outspoken on the subject of me, me, me..................................
This is what happens when you put a ******* in a position like this not because she's qualified (because she is not) but simply so you can say a female holds this important position no matter the harm she causes. They have their burden to bear in ?lush limpbaugh? and we have ours in ?nutso nancy?.
Go Away legosi she is an embarrasment to the political party of this country, but then again so are the other half, when will America wake up?we need to go back to our roots instead of forging ahead with all this ideological nonsense,PROTECT OUR BORDERS,LANGUAGE,AND CULTURE
Pelosi is upset at someone because she sees their motivation as political? Pot meet the kettle. I guess it's different when she did that to Bush for the last 6 years.
It's good to know that CBS "news" isn't afraid to point out how those crazy, wacko, rightwingers use stereotypes to demonize their opponents. Maybe they learned how to stereotype people from CBS "news".
And I'm sure when Shuler was running for congress for the first time against the Republican incumbent CBS "news" described him as "the failed Redskins' quaterback".
WASHINGTON - After Barack Obama's first six weeks as president, the American public's attitudes about the two political parties couldn't be more different, the latest NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll finds.
Despite the country's struggling economy and vocal opposition to some of his policies, President Obama's favorability rating is at an all-time high. Two-thirds feel hopeful about his leadership and six in 10 approve of the job he's doing in the White House.
"What is amazing here is how much political capital Obama has spent in the first six weeks," said Democratic pollster Peter D. Hart, who conducted this survey with Republican pollster Bill McInturff. "And against that, he stands at the end of this six weeks with as much or more capital in the bank."
By comparison, the Republican Party ? which resisted Obama's recently passed stimulus plan and has criticized the spending in his budget ? finds its favorability at an all-time low. It also receives most of the blame for the current partisanship in Washington and trails the Democrats by nearly 30 percentage points on the question of which party could best lead the nation out of recession.
DeFazio is right where he wants to be. He likes to pose as a 'mavrick'. This plays well here in Oreogn. But he never goes against the party when it counts.
He can count the votes and if there is any danger of his vote actually changing the outcome he will vote as the leadership wants him to.
