Somebody explain the electoral college to me.

This is all a consequence of the guy who got more votes, lost the election.

The people tried to make their voices heard yet....

This.

Mission Accomplished.

There is a growing undercurrent of anger in this country among the average worker, the average taxpayer, the former members of what used to be called the "middle class" but is now a part of the poor.

That anger is directed at Corporate America, at the banking industry, and at the politicians intent on doing away with the middle class and giving everything to the rich and powerful, and becoming rich and powerful themselves. Most of those politicians just happen to be neocon Fascist Nazi Republicans who are wealthy themselves and could care less what happens to the average American.

The situation is very similiar to France in the 1700''s when the monarchy was so corrupt and wealthy, that it totally "disconnected" with the average citizen who was going thru H-E-L-L.

The result was the average citizen got so fed up, they stormed the prisons and let everyone go, grabbed all the wealthy and powerful royalty they could find, including the king and queen, and marched them straight to the guillotine, after which they handed them their head on a platter, and created a constitution and government on which we ORIGINALLY based our own.

Could that happen here? Push the average citizen far enough, you neocon Fascist Nazi Republicans, and FIND OUT!!!!

SIG HEIL, I''M STILL ROYALTY!!!, BUSH!!!

The republicans are so busy trying to screw the unions they are blind to the conquences for the rest of the nation. If they put several million people out of work to make a statement concerning unions the may find that they have "awaken a sleeping giant and filled him with a terrible resolve."

"The ship is sinking; now is not the time to figure out why it''s sinking," said Dodd, who does defiance testing and engineering services for General Motors. "Now is the time to launch the lifeboats."

The ship was sinking a decade ago, time to bury the CORPSE.

Another question I have for pro-union posters:

Why do labor unions want to eliminate the secret ballot process for American workers?

The "Employee Free Choice Act" proposed by union bosses (who make their living stealing from the paychecks of union members) would allow union organizers (thugs) to coerce co-workers into signing cards to allow unions to represent them.

The argument that the secret ballot process takes to long and is subject to employer manipulation and discrimination is ludicrous! So tell me why American workers don''t deserve the right to secretly vote YES or NO on union representation!

I VOTE AGAINST UAW. DO AWAY WITH THE UAW AND SEE IF THE AUTOMAKERS CAN MAKE A GO OF IT WITHOUT HAVING TO PAY THE HIGH SALARIES, THE COST OF HIGH END INSURANCE, THE TRAINING AFTER LAYOFFS, THE CONTINUE SALARY AFTER LAYOFFS. NO ONE ELSE IN THE USA GETS THESE CONSESSIONS, WHY SHOULD UAW???? I DO NOT WANT MY TAX DOLLARS TO PAY FOR SOMETHING THAT I CAN''T EVEN AFFORD FOR MYSELF!!!!!
