Nicely put! Too bad you are preaching either to the choir of reasonable folks, or to the lunatic fringe who won''t ever see the reason in your post!

none of that will matter to you when you read this - if you are a true American scared of your freedom being washed away.

You know, I was thinking about this whole thing with Obama and Ayers. I''m a member of my daughter''s PTA and her girl scout troop. I have been for 4 years and I have known some of those parents for years now. But I don''t TRULY know them after 4 years. I don''t know what church they go to, or their criminal past, or even political affiliations. But I''ve been to their homes and they seem to be okay. Should I be looking into their backgrounds? If I decide to run for local office, I could be hammered with the past of some of these people even though they seem okay now. It''s a ridiculous notion to assume that Obama knew anything about this man even after seeing him around for years. I''m sure he doesn''t wear a "Hey I''m a Domestic Terrorist" t-shirt. He''s 64 years old for God''s sake and pals around with the Mayor and socialites in Chicago. What do any of us truly know about our neighbors, our kid''s friends parents, or people in our social networks? This tag on Obama is unfair. John McCain is MUCH closer to shadier people than this. Republicans just need to admit the real issues they have with Obama. This Ayers stuff is stupid.

This is funny--McCain made Republicans embrace a former mistress as potential first lady, illegitimate teen pregnancy, an Airhead for a VP and now they must embrace socialism and helping out the poor with a 300+ billion dollar mortgage bailout--before its over, the Republican party will seem more liberal than the Democrats and the Republicans have to swallow it--because he is all that they have.

Paying for a public bailout, ignoring subpoenas, obstructing investigations, then supporting airhead females for VP with secessionist party spouses and championing pregger teens indeed--what were those conservative values again? Hypocrites.

The big story this morning is rampant voter fraud but this left wing electronic rag has no mention of it in its headlines. You people never cease to amaze me.

rudy654-are you sure you weren''t looking at a video f one of wright''s speeches??? Hate, and "element" that Palin and mccain appeal to. Funny you should say that. No "element" could compare to the amount of hate and bile that your side throws and has been throwing.
I have heard that your messiah''s minions in the press is now spewing that there are some things going on at Pain/mccain rallies but for the life of me I don''t know where. Funny they should come out with that now. What with acorn and the truth finally coming out about your messiah. Sounds like some much garbage to turn your little minds away from the type of person you want for president.

I can understand you not being fully aware because your msm hasn''t covered squat as to just how deep these two bff''s are. So, maybe we should both look it up, ok?? Annenberg Challenge.

John McCain has shown through his past actions that he has no concern for the wellbeing of middle-class Americans. When taking that into consideration, just how do you think he will handle the current financial disaster our economically battered nation is in today? For an answer to that question, one must look to the past, specifically McCain%u2019s disgraceful involvement in the Keating Five savings-and-loan scandal that decimated our economy, not to mention millions of hard working American%u2019s life savings, in the late 1980%u2019s.

Millions of hard working Americans had their life savings wiped out when one savings-and-loan after another went down because of the criminality of repugnant swindlers such as Charles Keating. Keating is a convicted felon who greedily defrauded millions out of their life savings, while at the same time he donated more money to McCain%u2019s campaign than any other contributor in the nation. And what did McCain do when he learned of Keating%u2019s arrest? He illegally tried to use his influence to keep his friend and largest campaign contributor out of jail.

McCain%u2019s involvement as the key figure in the Keating Five scandal is a window into his past, present, and future disregard for middle-class Americans. I urge all decent Americans who are sick and tired of being treated like second class citizens by the reprehensible corporate elite on Wall Street and their enablers such as John McCain, to take a look at KeatingEconomics.com

Socail Security, health care, welfare, etc etc. all all benefits not rights. Your rights are freedom of speach, freedom to bare arms, freedmom of worship, freedmon to persure a better life. Well that was our freedom not we got a finanical market that is Socialist and then the Democrats social engineering that has gotten us into this mess.

Putting a Socialist will take this country down a path that in a few years those that put him in will be wishing they had not in secert, they would never admit it, just like a lot of Reps. won''t admit the problems with Bush, and no his problems are not the war or he lied his problems are that he didn''t follow through a a lot of things and now we are in a mess. Both parties are at fault, Dems for their social engineering and fighting for regulation of Freddie and FAnnie, Reps. cause they did not push harder to get these regulations in place. We do reserve 2 or 3 people as the most to blame, Franks, Dobbs.

We as a Nation are in very deep trouble and all some people can do is scream about putting a Socialist into the White House.

It''s not about a slant to capitalism or socialism in the current practical law (within the Constitution) but about Freedom to everyone (including their prefering that slant or another) and human rights.

John McCain served on the board to the U.S. chapter of an international anti- Semitic terrorist group that supports ultra-right-wing death squads in Central America. John McCain is a terrorist sympathizer who condones the murder of innocent civilians.

It%u2019s true, see for yourself at usatoday.com

I have noticed that the so-called conservatives have become full of hate, just full of it, and things are not looking better. I watched a video showing their hate being expressed at a rally, and these people look like they could become the next terrorists if they don''t get their bully/whining little ways. Sad. But that is the element Palin and McCain appeal to.

Here are typical lib remarks from a stupid party that think they are right all the time: Here is what I believe about libs
1). You are anti-american proof here:
The conservative brain deals in absolutes, unshakable in your righteousness and patriotism -- waving your flags and bibles and accusing anyone who thinks twice of treason. You only have to read the CBS articles and comments today (or any day really) to realise what a pile of stinking krap america has become. Thank God it''''''''s days as a superpower are finally over, and good riddance.
Oh, my God, if you accused one of these brainless fools, oh my, how dare you.
2). Anti-religion, see above.
3). Socialist healthcare:
Senator Obama believes that every American should have affordable healthcare and it is a right for having the great privilege of being an American Citizen and also a taxpayer. Healthcare should never be a choice or an option!
I could go on and on with your party, but then I would be called a Nazi facist ! So, I don''t know what I am and I voted for your fool in 92 and 96. Never again ! But your the "one" and your "messiah" will help all our issues. You libs are stupid and misguided. Thats not surprising considering the amount of trouble you people have caused to the US government.
