Politico: Debate Shows That Character Attacks Will Take A Back Seat To Continuing Financial Problems
- In my opinion Obama saying we are killing civilians and air raiding villiges is not unture, its something we dont want to hear or believe, that our perfect military could do such a thing (just like the Gauntanamo Bay prisoner scandal) but I believe it is true, if we had more troops there we would not need to launch as many attacks from the air, its common sense, he just said what most people dont have the guts to say about war, dont attack him for stating the ugly truth,

- Plain and simple,
If you will still be able to afford to support yourself after the business you work for folds under,
If you have all the insurance you need for you and your loved ones,
If your home is paid for and is still worth what you paid for it,
If you are secure with the future as far as your retirement,
If you are not concerned with the amount of taxes you pay,
If your credit rating is over 750,
and If you do not care at all about those who are less fortunate than you,
If you feel comfortable about "Bomb Bomb Bomb IRAN",
If you look forward to a Nuclear war with KOREA,
Then you might be able to afford to vote REPUBLICAN.
Here is your sign

It wasn''t about "intended", it was about context. McCain did the damage and gave the enemy ammunition by taking the words out of context. Nice one, John. - Reply to this comment
- Wow.
Not even enormous RNC payola to Diebold will guarantee a Republicon win this time...

- I guess McCain hasn''t read the bailout bill he takes credit for, or he would know that the bailout bill already does what he is proposing.
I think every American needs to read this:
%u201CSo Sambo beat the ***!%u201D
This is how Republican Vice Presidential nominee Sarah Palin described Barack Obama%u2019s win over Hillary Clinton to political colleagues in a restaurant a few days after Obama locked up the Democratic Party presidential nomination.
According to Lucille, the waitress serving her table at the time and who asked that her last name not be used, Gov. Palin was eating lunch with five or six people when the subject of the Democrat%u2019s primary battle came up. The governor, seemingly not caring that people at nearby tables would likely hear her, uttered the slur and then laughed loudly as her meal mates joined in appreciatively.
%u201CIt was kind of disgusting,%u201D Lucille, who is part Aboriginal, said in a phone interview after admitting that she is frightened of being discovered telling folks in the %u201Clower 48%u201D about life near the North Pole. - Reply to this comment

Fox news always offers stories highlighting child
molesters, wife beaters, polygamists, teenage *** etc.
It allows their conservative audience to, simultainiously, shake their heads and squirm in their seats.
I call it porn for the pious. - Reply to this comment
- The Jed Report notes that in a rally today, Sen. John McCain referred to his audience as ''my fellow prisoners'':
Across this country, this is the agenda I have set before my fellow PRISONERS. And the same standards of clarity and candor must now be applied to my opponent.

- It''s not just Presidential elections that need watching...
Locally, there were 2 local elected official races that were "close" and for the FIRST TIME there was a call for a recount - the COST of that RECOUNT was PROHIBITIVE so apparently he who had the money could challenge but POORER candidates were expected to just GIVE UP.
The results of those recounts had one race MUCH closer than in the original count but not enough to overturn it but the other recount overturned the original results.
The obvious point is that there WAS a NOTABLE DIFFERENCE between the original count and the recount and there should NOT HAVE BEEN if all votes had been counted correctly in the FIRST PLACE.
It is at the LOCAL level that many of our later upper level politicians get their start and it is your LOCAL elected official that can more often affect YOUR LIFE by a FAR GREATER degree.
Even if you''ve given up and think the Presidential election is a "lost cause" - PLEASE DO VOTE and keep a close eye on your local officials and bills. - Reply to this comment
- Do the Math/ McCains New purposal last night to buy up toxic Mortages useing 300 Billion would only effect change for 1,714,000 people thats figuring an average of $175,000 mortages. Thats a far cry from helping all people get out of this Mess.305,364,504 roughly in America at the present time. If only half are home owners thats still 304,000,000 short of helping americans get out of their troubles.
McCain does not have a clue how to solve this problem. Palin does not have a clue and McCain has failed His First Test as a possiable President the picking of Palin is a huge mistake and a huge issue for America and he will Pay the price which is Failure for his stupidity.

- If Obama does become president, we can all look forward to his daily beatings by the press for his further destruction of the economy through higher taxes, his inablility to reach bi-partisan consensus on any topic, his immediate lame-duck status from an emergency freeze on government spending, and his phenominal record-low approval ratings.
At least that is something for us to look forward to...

The 95% of us will not care about the complaints of the top 5% about their higher taxes.
Obama won''t need Bi-Partisan consensus on anything; the Republicans will be a pitiful minority in both houses after November.
His immediate lame-duck status from an emergency freeze on government spending, and his phenominal record-low approval ratings is nothing but your wishfull Pipe-dream.
I predict that the Republicans will hire a Ken Starr look alike for a moral fact finding mission involving peeking through the key hole from the Presidential Bedroom Closet.
The Republicans will fall back into the familar role they had during the early Clinton Years as Cry Babies, Mud Slingers, Obstructionists and moralistic mealy-mouths.
The difference is Clinton left with a 60% approval Rating, Bush is leaving with a 20% approval rating.
Look forward to that!!! - Reply to this comment
- Here''s a FACT:
If Fannie and Freddie were the problem, why in the hell didn''t the Republicans fix it from 1994 until now? Barack Obama showed up in Washington, DC in 2005. Fannie and Freddie have been around for 40 years. What the hell was the Republican Party doing during its 12 years of dominance of the Congress and 8 years of dominance of the White House? If Fannie and Freddie were the problem, why didn''t the Republicans fix it? Maybe we can ask Rick Davis, John McCain''s campaign manager, who made millions as a Fannie and Freddie lobbyist. - Reply to this comment

Bimbo-droid: Yah, you betcha! Gettin'' pretty *** good at it, too!

Time to dump the Government of Pigs (GOP) party, the party of war and death and spending (and McSame and Quaylin). Vote for peace, vote for change, vote for the people and the Constitution. - Reply to this comment
