Politico: Debate Shows That Character Attacks Will Take A Back Seat To Continuing Financial Problems

I feel the economy is the biggest issue right now. But I''m a bit tired of hearing about what the candidates will do to help the situation. Unless I am mistaken, they will not take office for another 2+ months. What the H*** is Bush doing right now?!?!? The economy is failing now and some people can''t wait for a new president to take office, settle in, and then address the issue. My husband and I have both been out of work since January of this year. Unemployment rates in our area are 8%. We are just a few weeks away from having no income. We can barely pay our mortgage, buy food, meet demands. Our savings is gone, retirement is declining daily. I need help NOW, answers NOW!

McCain and the republicans can''t win if the campaign stays on issues like the economy - the republicans enacted the failed policies that put us in this mess.

Has anyone here read McSame''s mortgage-buyback plan?

It makes the $700B bailout look pretty tame.

It''a all about dumping billions of taxpayer dollars into the pockets of the same banks and investment firms which created this mess.

Even in a time of crisis, McSame can find it in his heart to help out corrupt executives. It''s touching, really.

Republicans: re-distributing your wealth to our donors.

McCain lost another debate because of his stupid remarks and his history of voting with Bush. He has been in the U.S. Senate for over 30 years and accomplished NOTHING! Obama has been a U.S. Senator for less than 10 years and has done a LOT! He forecasted the Wall Street crisis; problems with Bush starting a war with Iraq (Obama opposed the war); and has moved to help, not hinder, this country.

Palin try to incite a riot by her false claims and lies about Barack Obama. McCain''s information is backwards too, and man is he a racist! He wouldn''t even shake hands with Obama last night after the debate.

And don''t forget McCain''s "qualifications". Being a POW does not qualify one to be President. Just as being a U.S. Army AWOL traitor to work on one of "Daddy''s campaigns" did not qualify George W. Bush to be President. He wasn''t even elected; - he was appointed by the U.S. Supreme Court when they cut off the recount.

McCain is a coward and dumb as dirt. He graduated in the bottom 1% of his graduating class from the U.S. Naval Academy and there is some question as to why or how he was released. It involved secret documents. Hmm... His own father would not meet him after being released. That and his volatile temper and racist attitudes, has convinced me that I don''t want that old geezer in the White House to start a nuclear war with Iran or continue the war in Iraq. The man is a moron and is a ticking time-bomb! Ditto for Cindy and Sarah Palin.

Thanks for letting me speak.
After going to http://www.billayers.org/ and watching Bill Ayers Videos.
And after researching and finding out that Obama basically worked for Bill Ayers for seven years. I see where Obama learned his speaking skills and charisma from Bill Ayers and his other Chicago mentors .

What is your proof that Obama worked for Ayers?

OBAMA IS A MUSLIM: In the MUSLIM FAITH husbands order their wives to walk behind them, they dont allow them to walk side-by-side with them. Muslim husbands also stone/kill their wives if they cheat them. Thats sad, wouldnt be enough just to divorce them? I mean, women are free to choose their partners in our society.

I wonder if MUSLIM OBAMA will stone/kill MICHELLE when she cheat him.

Please read what I wrote. If you subscribe to the Muslim belief that Obama is a Muslim, then you must be a Muslim also. Only a Muslim would want Obama to be a Muslim.

Logic 101

As long as you are born in US, religion is not an issue. Muslim is a religion and Obama is not a Muslim. At least Obama was born in US. McCain was born in Panama (look it up). He doesn''t even love America to be born here.

I_Love_Sara, in your fixation and idol worship, you do know that isn''t how she spells her name, right?

I didn''t think so, idiot.

In the Muslim belief, if a man''s father is a Muslim, then the man is a Muslim also. Since you believe that Obama is a Muslim, then you think like a Muslim; therefore you must be a Muslim. Shame on you for attacking your own religion.

McCain should be begging forgiveness of the American people for his part in the deregulation that has caused so much economic pain in the US. The man has no honor.

The republicans care so little for America and it''s people that they refuse to deal with the issues that are effecting people and instead run their campaign on prtty distractions. If there''s a modern republican with honor, you''d have to point him/her out...the two running on the presidential ticket are pitiful examples of what a good American should be.

You need to read this article before you continue astroturfing:

Read closely. Your last hope is having the opposite effect.

Obama''s words about Afghanistan however intended, that all we were doing is bombing woman and children could have been used by al-Qaeda to recruit more terrorist to kill more Americans.

Posted by doctorcool2u at 05:19 PM : Oct 08, 2008

Really? I assume you''ll want to condemn McCain as well then who said in 2000:

''In the most obscene chapter in recent American history is the conduct of the Kosovo conflict when the president of the United States refused to prepare for ground operations, refused to have air power used effectively because he wanted them flying %u2014 he had them flying at 15,000 feet where they killed innocent civilians because they were dropping bombs from such %u2014 in high altitude.''
---

Oh, but let me guess: it''s DIFFERENT when a Republican says these sorts of things, right?
