It`s true Democrats have a majority but it`s razor thin and Republicans can easily frustrate, block and filibuster Democratic efforts, in real terms its actually balanced with no real advantage to Dems, yet!

Again, I must agree with you. However right now the spotlight is on the democrats and this could be one of the most important things to get passed. In Fact President Bush may call an emergency session. I hope he does, he might just gain a little more credibility. I am 50/50 on it happening. GW already has 1 foot out of the whitehouse.

Obama`s success is the classic example of someone being in a bad situation, so bad, they just want out without looking to see where they are going! Republicans with their debt and wars have Americans that frustrated! This election is more about being disenchantment with Republicans than Obama!

ya gotta just love how stupid the Dems are. Every time they get a chance they blow it on some unknown that turns out to be as far left as they come.

Say bye bye to this one, dems.

Another 8 years of Republican Presidency.

The dems woulda done better to nominate....

The question is if we want a man in the White House who will regularly give his ear to the likes of a Reverend Wright, his and Sabeel%u2019s replacement theologies, and pro-terrorist propagandists like Ali Abunimah on a regular basis? In one sense, Obama could be considered the ISM%u2019s Manchurian candidate given his wide connections to ISM activists and campaign movements such as the Wheels of Justice Tour, Joseph Carr a.k.a. Joseph Smith, Hannah Mermelstein, Anna Baltzer and others.

You are correct, however remember the Democrats have controlled Congress for the past 2 years and have really shown there true colors by not staying in session and passing an energy bill that would help all of us. Instead Nancy acts like a Communist and Blocks everything within her power. What a ***.

ITS BEYOND ME THAT THE DEMS DID NOT VETT OBAMA!

Posted by obama8years at 10:00 PM : Aug 03, 2008,,,

Democrats should not have to Vett Obama! Obama is an elected U.S. Senator and the State of Illinois Vetted Obama! Implying that you can become a U.S. Senator and not be Vetted is wrong, misleading and not true!

Never forget that the Republicans are running a serial adulterer that dumped his disabled wife to marry an ultra-rich heiress who later stole drugs from a children''s charity.

A Tallahassee, Florida newspaper is reporting that the McCain campaign kicked out the sole black reporter from an event that was held on Friday. Stephen Price, Senior Writer for the Tallahassee Democrat, had all of the necessary credentials to be attending the McCain event but was the only reporter that was singled out and told to leave. There is no apparent reason for why he was kicked out of the event.

Soon thereafter, a female reporter was asked why Price was kicked out. She, too, got the boot!

Here are a couple of links describing what occurred on Friday:

Tallahassee Democrat Executive Editor Bob Gabordi said the following:

"We''re deeply concerned and disturbed that our reporter %u2014 of all of those in that area %u2014 was asked to move. My understanding is that Stephen was the only reporter approached and asked to leave the area, and the only reporter in that area who is black. Another reporter who stood up for Stephen was then asked to leave."

Is it 2008? Or 1908?
