- I''''m voting Democrat because the real cure for racism includes preferential policies based on race particularly in presidential voting.
If you believe that a black candidate ought to be qualified, as well as black, you''''re worse than Hitler!

When was the last time that the majority of black voters voted Republican? And when was the last time that the majority of black voters voted for a candidate that wasn''t white?
PS--When was the last time that YOU voted for a black candidate? - Reply to this comment

You never really had any doubt about them doing this did you??
I had AOL cancel my account of 15 years all due to my real American vs. hyphenated-American posts.
You''ve all seen how I will not let one of these pinkos draw me into playing their games of getting personal or the name calling they constantly spew. I always posted the same way on AOLS boards.
I knew I had not violated their TOS and they refused to issue justification for their cancelling my service, even after I wrote them a snail mail letter requesting justification for canceling my service after 15 years.
Those pinkos at AOL refused all attempts from me to provide justification. For I knew they had nothing. - Reply to this comment

Does Obama have a pilots license? Does Obama have anything that libs critize McCain over?
McCain and his corrupt republicons, keep shoving his pilots experience at the medica - which is none. 5 years as a pow, doesn''''t give you flight experience.

Zoe, you are correct. It is very hard to gain presidential experience while you are getting your fingernails pulled out by communist.

- I listened to one of these Obama worshippers on the tube today justifying the reason for the Democrat lead Congress not producing a good energy plan is due to the fact the two guys currently in the White House are oil men.
I thought, ddddduuuuuhhhhhh this passes as a valid excuse to all these hyphenated-Americans??
IOW: This "do nothing" Democrat lead Congress figures if it requires a fight to get something good for America passed, they simply don''''t even try???
So, they don''''t.

A- ''hyphenated Americans''--you insult anyone who disagrees with you by calling them that, but never make the effort to explain what you mean by it; it is therefore meaningless. I define myself as an American, period.
B- the 2 guys in the White House currently ARE oil men. So, according to you, because Republican politicians MUST be angels, this means nothing.
C- Democrats have a majority by HOW many more votes than Republicans at this point? Used to be 1, but may be more by now. Anyway, have you heard of this little thing called a ''veto''? Have to have a lot more votes on the Dems side than they have right now to override a veto, so you can''t blame it on a ''Dem'' congress. I know--it''s just your Rush--talking-point-homework that you were assigned to do.

- John McCain Campaigns on GI Bill He Opposed
Posted by Isaac Fitzgerald at 12:53 PM on June 30, 2008.
McCain does the flip-flop shuffle.
Sen. Jim Webb (D-VA), a Vietnam veteran, worked hard to pass a new GI Bill: S. 22. The bill increases education benefits for the men and women of the US military.
Webb reached out across the aisle to Sen. McCain, a fellow veteran, to help back the bill; but McCain refused and in fact spoke out against S. 22.
Of course McCain has the right to express disapproval for any bill he disagrees with, even if it seems strange for a veteran to be against better education funding for soldiers. But what he shouldn''t be doing is touting S. 22 as a bill that he backed now that it has passed (75-22).
Watch as McCain uses the bill that he fought to kill as part of his stump speech at a town hall event, stating:
I''m happy to tell you that we probably agreed to an increase in educational benefits for our veterans that not only gives them an increase in their educational benefits, but if they stay in for a certain amount of time than they can transfer those educational benefits to their spouses and or children. That''s a very important aspect I think of incentivizing people of staying in the military. - Reply to this comment

Interesting point you bring up here Don, since I have long held that Sen. "OsamaObama" isn''t black enough.
And, it has nothing to do with his skin pigmenation. Solely due to the fact his family tree contains no American black history as mine does.
IOW: Sen. "OsamaObama" is an American of European lineage and an African of African decent.
Myself on the other hand, my black Grandmother was born right here in the USA. Thus I am American of both European and African lineage. - Reply to this comment
