In all fairness to Jesus, read the New Testament. There isn''t so much room there for the christian evangelical extremists. They point to radical Islam but it would behoove them not look so much at the speck in their brothers eye but rather look at the log in their own.

They live in the OLD testament. An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth. Jesus came to replace the old with the new. The Jews never embraced the new testament nor the messiah. The old testament is the judeo history of the bible.

I wasn''t quoting you, I was defending you. If you''re religion has you wearing 2 left shoes, so what? If a chosen religion gives you focus and peace of mind, go for it. My biggest beef is when a religion has you mucking around with your fellow man. Often it''s not the religion itself, it''s the sick twist some people put on the words to spread hatred.

1. you asked specifically about Obama, not McCain, so why would I bring up McCain''s faults when you asked why Obama was bad

2. He did repeat many of Rev.Wright''s teachings, google the phrase "White folk''s greed runs a world in need"...it is Obama making a speech on Rev.Wright''s words in Audacity of hope

3. His rhetoric is not correct...how much do you think universal healthcare will cost....why is taxing the rich ok with you? they earned it...they already pay higher taxes and most of the taxes, due to the current progressive tax scale
