Fair Game! Fair game for what? For them to make a mockery of a hero''s service record. Sure that''s fair game it makes them look like the azzzzes they are.

You are living proof at how DUMB Liberals are. You have FAILED to beat President Bush for eight years, yet you try to tightly tie him and McCain together; in effect, making this election one of Obama vs Bush.

You must LOVE to loose.

Since Obama is and has been a Christian, it''d be hard to use any kind of Muslim excuse to avoid service.
are the people who keep repeating the LIE that he''s Muslim really so thick, or is it just too convenient a tag line to pass up.

McBush had the ba11s to call Obama opportunistic or accuses him of flip-flopping when McBush has flip-flopped and sometimes even re-flopped on gay marriage, immigration, Nuclear waste at Yucca Mountain, talking to rogue states, attacking terrorists in Pakistan, abortion, illegal wiretaps, torture of detainees, tax cuts for the wealthy, the estate tax, holding detainees indefinitely, privatizing social security, windfall profits taxes for oil companies, off shore drilling, an MLK holiday, and states displaying the confederate flag. He''s even flip-flopped during the course of one TV interview. He sponsored or introduced bills, only to oppose them. He''s flipped, flopped and flip-flopped on accepting public financing this past year, once to use the public finance money as collateral for a loan.

He used to talk like a maverick, but he''s become a *****-n-bush''s clone. He''s a true representative of the Grand OIL Party.

Hey look at General Wesley Clark''s record he was the un comander under Clinton admin. The Press has given him a free pass on (Srebrenica) His good friend Gen. Ratko Mladic Bosnian Serb commander who was the butcher of Srebrenica. Did General Wesley Clark order the turn over of women and children to that butcher? When they were safe on a UN controlled base? The seem to blame the dutch comander. But did the Dutch comander ask the UN comander what to do?

Let''s see if we can get it to the point you might understand the comment. John McCain flew a fighter jet 23 missions in Vietnam. Obama never served his country in uniform. John McCain was shot down and became a POW for 5 years. Obama never served his country in uniform. John McCain was beaten, broken, and tortured into submission. Obama never served his country in uniform. John McCain refused to take early release from captivity. Obama never served his country in uniform. You get the idea? No, then let''s try it another way. Obama never was drafted into the service of his country. That was an accident of birth chronology. Had he been born in time, he still could have opted out by using the "Cassius Clay" defense, a muslim free pass. Obama never volunteered for military service for his country. 4,100 Americans did volunteer to serve their country in uniform; their flag draped coffins are testimony to their patriotism. Obama had to be forced to wear the American flag. Shall we continue the lesson? Duh Obama''s war record is zilch; of course, he doesn''t want to discuss it.

Since he''s basing his campaign in large part on his service, it''s fair to examine that service. Unfortunately his performance at the academy and his record as an aviator leave something to be desired. There are also questions about parts of his service record that haven''t been released and his writings are obviously self-serving.

The son and grandson of 4-star admirals finished very near the bottom of his class at Annapolis. He must have been either lazy or not the brightest cadet. He doesn''t seem lazy, even after all these years, so it probably wasn''t laziness. He probably would take up W''s mantle of mediocrity in the intelligence department. Our president should be smarter than most people.

He wasn''t the best pilot, either. Lots of pilots flew lots more missions without being shot down? Did he also destroy planes before being shot down?

He caved and made propaganda films for North Vietnam, but nobody who hasn''t gone through what he endured can say for sure that they wouldn''t have done the same even sooner.

He bravely volunteered and served in the military and deserves all our thanks and respect for even mediocre service.

General Clark''s comment about McCain''s war service is correct. Flying a plane, getting shot down, and becoming a prisoner of war does not equate into presidential experience. Heroic, yes, presidentially qualified, no.
Unfortunately, Clark forgot to dumb down his comments to the average voters intelligence which is equivalent to that of a thirteen year old.
Politicians know this and that is why they seldom say anything intelligent.

Fair enough. Now, go out and find other POWs that spent time in Hanoi with John McCain and see what they have to say. Kerry was criticized by those that served with him. If you can provide the same with respect to McCain''''s time at the Hanoi Hilton then I see no reason why the Democrats can''''t use them. Now run along and get those POWs.

Those who served with John Kerry, the crewman of the swift boat Kerry commanded, supported Kerry. Those who spread the lies did so in revenge for Kerry''s anti-war efforts in the 1970''s. Lies about anyone''s service whether it be Kerry, McCain or anyone else is abhorant and when it is done to undermine a Presidential candidate, is particularly dishonorable. Because of the so-called "Swift Boat Veterans for the Truth" lies, George W. Bush was re-elected and the country has paid a steep price for their lies.
