Yes, remember the lies about John Kerry? If it was Obama''''s record it''''d be on the table/

Face it, McCains war record is honorable (as was mine) but he''''s no more a hero than most of us.

I''m sure your service was honorable...but were you along with many of your comrads in arms locked up in a POW camp for five years? The face of constant adversity every moment of your life for five years?

What is being missed is that your service record is part of the person you are today, that gives you the strength of that experience.

My son went from a happy go lucky boy to being a man that understands consequence and responsibility in 8 weeks of military basic training. And 9 years of service using that experience to serve this country! Add that to the basic character of him as a person who has made a great success.

Obama hasn''t faced personal adversity a day in his life! Yet has the audacity to claim it when he''s lived in wealth and privilege!

The Vietnamese were the ones who put military targets in civilian communities so they could complain about us bombing civilians. The communist have a different mindset about how to run a war than we did.You should learn the facts about a subject before you start rgurjatating at the mouth.

I think your father has a right to be proud of how he served. He put himself in harms way defending our country. It wasn''t his fault he was shot down and captured. I will always respect his service to our country and take pride in the fact we have men like him.

I think when you are running for public office everything about you should be public knowledge and fair game. I want to know all the dirt from both sides. I think McCain can withstand the scrutiny, but i don''t think obama can.

Fair Game! Fair game for what? For them to make a mockery of a hero''''s service record. Sure that''''s fair game it makes them look like the azzzzes they are.

If having military service and being a POW is of such high qualifications then where was the concern in the GOP in 2000 when an AWOL Texas Air NG brat was running against this Navy brat ??

OK, OK, OK. So lets say none of McCain''s wartime experience counts as presidential experience, or makes him qualified to be president, etc. Fine.

But I forgot, so tell me again.

What has Obama ever done?

firststate, I''ve been to Chicago; I understand the shell game. I''ll not "paste" your litany of 15 ways to divert attention from Obama''s failure to serve his country in uniform, his failure to volunteer while 4100 Americans die to secure Obama''s stateside lifestyle, or his desire to keep military records off the table. I submit that John McCain''s record regarding Vietnam, at its worst, trumps anything Obama has ever done for this country, at his best. And that is why Obama doesn''t want it talked about. As for Aravosis, he was four years old when John McCain entered that prison camp on his 23rd mission. He knows what any four year old would know.

The US military is like an alien entity to Obama. He is clueless.
