None of your solutions will make the oil companies lower their price. Your fourth grade teacher was wrong, the only thing price has to do with the law of supply and demand, is that when demand slows, the supply is also cut, in order for the oil companies to maintain high prices.

Your paycheck comes from a business that worked to earn it, and if honest, paid taxes on it, still when the check is given to you, it is income for you, and subject to income tax. There is no difference, it is income for you, and therefore should be taxed. - Reply to this comment

2. No reduction in the federal gas tax (20 cents per gallon)
3. No Arctic drilling
4. No Rocky Mountain drilling

We have a debt of 9.5 TRILLION DOLLARS and RECORD deficits! Now when the Fascist were handed power in 2000 we had a BALANCED BUDGET and a SURPLUS...
