Politico: Questions Raised About Financial Dealings Of Washington Insider Jim Johnson
- ragnar30066,,,, And you don''t question McCain''s judgement ???? LOL, he still has no concept on who the enemy is or how to escape the labels of another Bush or even the new type of republican he clames to be -- He still uses the old republican rhetoric.

- fenner,,,, Then you would agree everyone of McCain''s should get both eyes blacked --- There is still no comparison over who''s got the lobbyist or who''s are the most detrimental. McCain still leads the pack on that issue.

- Is Obama totally lacking in judgement? He spends 20 years listening to sermons in a church that he "never heard" until it became a campaign-killer, then he first disowns the pastor and then has to disown his church. He''s still bossom buddies with a couple of folks who were icons during the Weatherman days of the 60''s, who still refuse to change their attitude and he doesn''t see a problem. He lives in a house bought by political corruption and he doesn''t see a problem. Now his VP is being selected by someone who lined his pockets by other people losing their homes in the mortgage crisis, and he doesn''t see a problem.
I see the caliber of Obama''s judgement, and I see a huge problem. - Reply to this comment
- krisinal,,, Try getting professional people who aren''t Washington insiders, at least he wasn''t a lobbyist ---- As Obama was resoponding to it, guess what happened ??? 2 more lobbyist still working for McCain was exposed. LOL

- Obama needs the Clintons
Clintons don''t need Obama
He is losing:
White voters
Women
Rust belt voters
Lunch bucket voters
Jewish voters
Latino voters
Reagan Democrats
Cubans
Catholics
Evangelicals
Florida and Michigan voters
Older voters
But he does have the African American and elitist.
Doesn''t sound like a winning ticket to me.
I wouldn''t bet on it. - Reply to this comment

- The reason Clinton supporters will not vote for Obama is because they are embarrassed of him, his life, his unfair tactics and his beliefs. And they still don''t know all about him.

- Jim Johnson, not Larry. But he looks like Larry from the 3 Stooges.
Except that Larry was a funny fellow. This guy is just a crook. But hey, he''s Obama''s go-to-guy, the destroyer of dreams.
Better get your change ready. - Reply to this comment
- mkinnord and getleftist aka bozocentered,
8 years of cowardice, of elian gonzalez, of bombing serbs not al qaeda, or gennifer flowers, paula jones, and a fat ''ho named lewinsky. not to mention a shrew named hillary.
That''s 8 years of Democratic Party MISRULE.
Better a GW Bush than the last two Democratic cowards and crooks, and in one case, serial rapist. - Reply to this comment
- nothing irrelevant about millions of Americans facing foreclosure...or having homes ripped out from under them by Countrywide.
Home of crooks. Home of Jim Johnson. Another friend of Obama''s - and just another reason to nail shut his coffin.
Change??? Yes, I''ll take yours, and yours, and yours, and hey Ed McMahon, I''ll only take your home.
Obama - friend of Larry Johnson and Tony Rezko.
Need I say more? - Reply to this comment
- Countrywide Mortgage - Destroyers of the American Dream.
Obama signs one of them on because he really does want change - yours, mine, and everyone elses in America. Ask Ed McMahon.
And Bozo the Clown aka Jimbo Webb not only would endorse this guy but possibly become his veep. Figures. A guy who talks about how the American Middle Class is suffering will **** on them, just as he did on the legacy of the President he once served. As well as this country.
Two cowards - one physical and moral named Obama, and the other moral by the name of Webb richly deserve each other - and Countrywide mortgage too, the biggest crooks outside of Tony Rezko. - Reply to this comment
- Objectively, Going by the last 16 years, Clinton 8 Bush 8, Democrats have done a better job running the country. What else is there?

The truth is, he has no plan the America People would accept. His plan is to wait til he ''supposeddly'' gets elected, then he''ll raise everyon''es taxes to support his welfare party, and in four years, you will all wish for the good old days, and blame Republicans for not voting in their candidate in 2008. - I''m starting to have doubts, a Presidential candidate should have had a VP running mate in mind even before starting the campaign.
I won''t vote for any candidate who has not chosen a VP by July 4, I will have the time to look at the person before I vote. - Reply to this comment
- Jim Johnson---change we can believe in my foot!
If Obama needs vetters to inform him that Hillary is the obvious choice for VP, he deserves to lose.
Half of the Democratic Party is in a state of depression. Some long-time Democrats like myself will not even vote for him, let alone actively work for him, as I have done for Democratic nominees since 1972. What is taking him so long? Arrogance? Resentment? Fear? or just plain political naivete? - Reply to this comment

- AHHHHHH YES! YOU GOTTA LOVE IT. ONCE AGAIN OBAMA, CLAIMS HE IS THE CANDIDATE OF CHANGE. HE WILL NOT BE INFLUENCED BY WASHINGTON INSIDERS.
JIM JOHNSON, WASHINGTON INSIDER, IS "A STALWART OF THE WASHINGTON ESTABLISHNENT."
IT''S AMAZING HOW MUCH THIS GUY SOUNDS LIKE THE CONVICTED TONY REZKO, WHO HELP OBAMA WITH HIS QUESTIONABLE PURCHASE OF HIS LAND AND MODEST $1.6 MILLION SOUTHSIDE MANSION. OBAMA SEEMS TO SURROUND HIMSELF WITH QUESTIONABLE PEPOLE, YET, CLAIMS TO HAVE THE WISDOM TO MAKE THE RIGHT CHOICES TO LEAD OUR COUNTRY.
HMMMMMM

- "the borrowing of money to fund the illegal war the Democrats keep supporting"
......uh....what war....oh the war in Iraq?
The war that Democrats tried to stop with war funding bills that included withdraw terms?
That Bush vetoed twice?
That Republicans have OBSTRUCTED the will of the American people.
The Democrats will get my vote in 08....please.....not the idiot warmonger Republican society. - Reply to this comment
- johnax,
That is a simple solution, very simple. If the banks get out of the mortgage business who will get in? The government?
We''re a mixed economy. The private markets make investment decisions and he job of the government is to protect consumers from abuses. The problems occur when the government is run by the same people making the profits from ripping off the consumers.
Obama has proposed solutions to the mortgage crisis and if you''re really interested in learning anything you can read about them on his website. - Reply to this comment
