If Barack has "race and rural" problems, then why didn''t they surface in, amongst other places, Colorado, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, North Dakota, Utah or Wisconsin?

Those are largely rural states with predominantly white populations, and Barack swept them.

Moral of the Story: While West Virginia might indeed be filled with degenerate racists who are utterly dependent upon government handouts and dirty coal, that''s West Virgnia''s problem, not Barack''s.

Survey today showed that Barack Obama loses to McCain by the *same* margin (7%) that Hillary Clinton does when matched up against McCain right now in West Virginia.

So, even if Hillary was the nominee she would lose WVA by the *same* margin to McCain as Obama. WVA lower-income whites with no college education are the same ones that voted for Reagan and GW.
