Politico: Obama Might Declare Victory After Securing A Majority Of Pledged Delegates
- Posted by justinlz: "Wall Street guys just want to get fast money to feed themselves and make trouble domestically and globally. It is time to change! For the long term benefit of US and the world.
Support Obama"

Senator Obama''s billionaire fundraisers, corporate exec. bundlers account for at least 50% of his campaign contributions. The list includes 21 Wall Street executives and power brokers from Fortune 500 companies.
The Washington Post did an extensive article on Senator Obama''s billionaire fundraisers.
I don''t think you and Senator Obama are on the same page with this "change" thing. - Reply to this comment
- I did not hear it from the candidates today and I must hear it EVERYday from now until the convention:
"Although I feel I am a better choice than my Democratic rival, we both represent the ideals that the American people want. To vote for the Republican cadidate is a continuation of war withouth end and "W"''''s agenda".
I heard Hillary say similar tothis for the first time yesterday. I have heard Barrack say this at every speech.
Need to hammer this home if my Party, the Democratic Party is to be victorious in November. I hope it is not too late. We have talented people here whose reputations have been wrongly sullied. No more racist or sexist jabs please. No more name calling please. Just talk the principles and issues. - Reply to this comment
- That''''s the problem - it''''s been over for weeks now and the Clinton machine is still steamrolling over people to get their way. Somebody''''s got to disable the robot!

Unfortunately that''s not true! If he was as far ahead as he claims the nomination would''ve already been awarded!
The truth is he doesn''t, and never has! - Reply to this comment
- RowdyTexan2 - Yes, if you were that perceptive I would expect you would be rich by now my friend, but apparently you are not, hence you spend all your time on this cbsnews blogs spewing your hate. Attempting to get some "justice" for yourself for you failings in life which you apparently blame on others different from you. Keep going my broke, racist, backwards fellow country man.

Unfortunately what YOU want isn''t going to happen.
The candidate has to have the will of the people and the party is SPLIT! - Reply to this comment

No, it hasn''t. Obama has the delegates, but not the votes. Hillary has the votes, but not the delegates.
Hillary voters will not vote for Obama, Obama voters will not vote for Hillary!
It''s that simple! - Reply to this comment

Biden and Edwards are NOT that stupid! They know as well as the DNC knows, Obama can''t win it!
Again, the only thing the party can do to unite is pull a per forma candidate and unite the party! - Reply to this comment
- Hey rowdytexan. I firmly believe that you really are a jobless racist. You persistently hunt cbsnews blogs with your racist rants. You really need to find something creative to do in your life rather than hover on cbsnews blogs day-after-day-after-day spreading your backwards, ignorant ideas. Let me put it to you this way - people who believe the way you do, even slightly, will not be voting for Obama anyways, so just who are you looking to bring over to your skewed view of the world. I believe non-judgemental people see right through you. I see you racism has really gotten you far in life since you spend so much time on this blog.

Okay, I could swear just yesterday you were saying you were never going to vote for Barack ever. So relatively speaking it looks like Barack''s making some progress already ;p
That being said, I hope Barack''s camp is not trying to paint him as the ''inevitable'' candidate the way Hillary did. Not that he doesn''t have more to back him up, but it seems to take is one setback and people never let a person live it down. The ''mission accomplished'' banner''s another example. And given how the campaign turns on a dime, do the benefits really outweigh the risks (?)
Also, even assuming they have enough superdelegates lined up to reach 2025 by May 20, isn''t Hillary STILL going to be harping about counting MI and FL and needing 2209? :o
If Barack could get Edwards and Biden to pledge their support such that all the ''uncommitteds'' and others on the MI and FL ballots were in his camp, and such that he''d have both 2025 AND 2209 if FL and MI are counted, wouldn''t that be all the better? What would she have left? - Reply to this comment
