polycript says that "the gridlock caused by the Clintons in the 90''s".
Just a reminder, that "gridlock" was caused by the Republicans who spent 70 million of our money to investigate the Clintons. The Republicans even shut congress down. No federal employee got paid. Except the members of congress. Remember? After all the money spent and the anti Clinton attacks all they had on him was *** with Monica. Many of those professing outrage were found out to have mistresses of their own. Even with all that wasteful spending, the Clinton presideny was a success. We had jobs, a budget surplus, no war, good standing in the world. I wish he was still in office instead of that nitwit Bush!

Near4511,

The difference in the formula is that Easley is an ethically tarnished lame duck Governor and the real Democratic machine(the powerful leaders of the General Assembly and the Democratic candidates to be the next Governor) are all lined up with the will of the which is Obama.

Hillary''s camp is having wet dreams over this and a new Survey USA poll showing the lead down to 5 points. As usual, they ignore the plethora of other polls which still show her trailing by double-digits.

Weasley didn''t have the balls to take on Dole, he doesn''t have to face the voters again, and he probably is looking for an appointed position in D.C.

Now Mike, get busy and find those lost e-mail; maybe Karl Rove can help you!

My dear old dad always told me to vote my pocket. In other words -- vote for the one who can push programs which will improve your life. Last time I checked -- when the Clintons were in charge of this country --- I had a really great job and a comfortable bank account to back me up for emergencies and even a stock portfolio which was on its way up. As soon as the dummy voters and the Supreme Court stuck us with Bush --- my stocks went south, I lost my job of 18 years and had to deplete my emergency savings for the bills after my unemployment ran out ---- and was out of work for almost a full year with no jobs listed in the classified ads. So what does that tell me? A vote for Hillary Clinton is a wise financial move. The Clinton presidency will restore prosperity because they know how to do it. Hey, some people are just smarter and better at getting things done in this country. I say go with the pros and live well and prosper. Go with what you know. This Obama guy is a train wreck and the Repubs will destroy him and then we''re stuck with Bush #2 and the working man ends up with 2 nickels to rub together -- if he''s THAT lucky. Better to pick the one who can beat the Repubs or we will be the real losers in this race.

The Hillary campaign has excitedly announced the endorsement of a supporter at least equally to Mike whatshisname, Pee Wee Herman. though it must be noted that his dog Speck descent''s on the grounds that even a dog is too smart to support her.

Thank you. I voted for Bill Clinton twice and am proud of both votes. That said, being his wife doesn''t qualify her for president and the stone cold truth is that if he''d not been the president, she''d have never been elected Senator, let alone president.
