Politico: Candidate Has Had Moments Of Aloofness Or Tone Deaf Reactions
- It is interesting that Obama seems to be ahead in North Carolina (a state which Democrats don''t need and probably will never win) where Bush''s approval rating is 50% greater than in Pennsylvania where Hillary Clinton is way ahead of him even though he''s outspending her 3 to 1.

- It seems as if Obama has a rage inside of him that he constantly tries to keep under wraps. Perhaps that is why he comes out with a speech, as opposed to, a question and answer forum. Start printing some excerpts from his books. There are all kinds of "clues". He is a relative newcomer to politics, but he has a better understanding of foreign policy?? Give me a break! He has a lot to learn.

- It is superb poetic justice that a campaign that was based solely on words, is being brought down solely by words---ironically the words of the same person who will say one thing to humble, working-class people in small towns in Pennsylvania and North Carolina and Indiana and will say something denigrating those same people to one of his smug, sophisticated San Francisco donors. As a teacher of English, I am delighted by this turn of events. Words are great . . . when used by people of integrity, and so weak and terrible when employed by charlatans.

- May we real Democrats squeeze in here between the McVain and Swillin'' Hill fans? You mayget more satisfaction and find comfort in your hate momger buddies on Fox. You will feel right at home because they also do the caps lock shouting thing.

- Obama is the epitome of the sleazy double-talking politician par excellence. He says one thing to a humble working-class audience in rural North Carolina or Pennsylvania and then says a totally different thing to a big-city San Francisco donor. This is NOT a politics of "change" my friends.

- WHO EXACTLY IS BITTER AND WHY? THOSE WHO ARE ANGRY THAT THINGS HAVE NOT CHANGED OR BECAUSE THEIR LIFESTYLE HAS NOT BEEN EQAUL WITH THOSE WHO WORK HARD AND EARN THEIR WAY? ARE THEY BITTER BECAUSE THEIR HAND OUTS ARE SMALLER? ARE THEY BITTER BECAUSE THEY DON''''T WANT TO FIGHT IN A WAR THAT IS SAVING THEIR FREEDOMS? ARE THEY BITTER BECAUSE NO DEMOCRAT HAS BEEN ABLE TO CONVINCE THEM THEY DESERVE MORE BUT HAVE TO PAY FOR IT, TOO? SURE, THEY ARE BITTER.

- I''am a republican and did my homework. Check out Obama''s accomplishments next to Clinton''s below. I''ve watched how Bush stole the 2000 and 2004 elections, how he illegally attacked an innocent country (Bush Sr. set up Saddam), watched as he tore up Iraq, stole their antiquities, murdered over 1 million innocent people (worst crime), raped the women and children, displaced 4 million more, caused the murder of 4000+ US soldiers, maimed countless more, sat by while Katrina flooded, stole our money (Federal Reserve and IRS), destroyed the Constitution and our Bill of Rights, and let America crash and burn. McCain supports much of Bush''s legacy, and Clinton is the chosen one by the Bilderberg''s to clean up his mess so the same insane cycle will continue. Didn''t you know the Bush''s and Clinton''s are friends?
Like the Nordic Vikings who became extinct because they were too arrogant and racist to learn from the Inuit Indians how to survive the Little Ice Age, Americans too will go down. Rev. Wright had it wrong to say "God d*mn America". He should have said "America has damned herself."
Wake up America for your children''s sake. It may be too late for you.

- We have gas at $5 a gal in CA, 18 eggs cost $10, propane gas $347 last month for 2, 1/2 of homes in foreclosure, roving gangs stealing and breaking into empty homes and robbing people at gunpoint, water pipes bursting all over the city, we''re told no money to fix them right away, street roads cracked, when finally fixed they are patched with inferior paving that cracks again next year. No jobs except at McDonald''s, young people roam the streets because they cannot afford college or get a job and don''t want to enlist for an illegal war and get killed, bees disappeared affecting our food, radiation from distant bombs and war are affecting people, animals and environment, Federal Reserve is bailing out banks but doing nothing for us, and we have a maniac leading us and costing us $12 billion a month for wars and set to go after Iran.
I am bitter, we just bought guns and rifles for the first time and we''re voting for Obama because he''s the only one who didn''t put us in the mess. We may not overcome this mess. This is a depression, not a recession. And...Obama was right (again) and has nothing to apologize for. WHe focuses on issues, Clinton focuses on attacks. I guess that''s the American way isn''t it? Lie and fight until you get enough people to believe your lies.

- "Asked what he would seek in a running mate, Obama said despite the conventional wisdom, he wouldn%u2019t need somebody with military expertise because "foreign policy is the area where I am probably most confident that I know more and understand the world better than Sen. Clinton or Sen. McCain."
The arrogance of this man is just astounding! Here you have a man who''s been in US government less than 3 years, saying he knows more than two people who have been in it for several decades understands foreign policy better than they do!
This whole thing he claims as ''I was right about the war...'' is KRAP! The man didn''t have any clue about foeign relations then, or now! As usual he was spouting his mouth off about something he knew nothing about! As LUCK would have it, he was right! But not by any superior intellectual reasoning at all.
Mr. Obama''s bad judgment is astouding. His arrogant refusal to answer questions about his past that are now biting him in the butt. His not knowing the DNC rules and going off like a flake! His naive plans that completely show is incompetence! And now the stupidest of stupid, he''s insulted the country with racist remarks AGAIN!
How many times is this nation going to have to apologize for this man''s bad judgment? - Reply to this comment
- If Obama could push through some pork for every American citizen''s employer the way he did for his wife''s employer,...we could all get 200k dollar raises and the economy would be fixed!!
