Politico: Debate Questioner Who Asked About Gays In The Military Is Co-Chair Of Group For Hillary
- denn034... If a soldier cannot conduct themselves in a way befitting a uniformed soldier then they should not serve in the military. I agree if gay/lesbians serrve in the military they should adhere to the same guidelines. Thus behaving themselves. Likewise any heterosexual people should behave themselves as well. Any people pressuring them to leave or engage in gay bashing, abuse, or possibly murder should never put on a uniform of any kind. Dont ask dont tell was a good policy for the time. Times change. You cant go from one extreme to the other all at once. It was used merely as a stepping stone and it needs updating in order to be brought into modern times.

Once again, Conniving Calculating cackling Clinton lives down to her name. Is there no depth of depravity to which she won''t stoop?

- Oh no!
Did a Democrat get to ask a Republican a question by mistake?
I thought that was forbidden!
Bad Democrat!

- I watched the debate and this was a non issue question. Leave it to the GOP to try to find something in what was said. We all know that a Democrat will swing to a Republican side and vice versa. So why is this even a big deal it was a very good question as to how it was ask but really didn''t do anything for the candidates neither positive or negative.
Oh wait it is something to whine about this is not going to change the voters mind. - Reply to this comment
- Due to their DNA gay generals and atheist lesbians act as cowards and liars . Their nurtured nature is now a fact.

Is it just me, or does this post not make any sense? If it''s nurtured, it''s not nature. If it''s nature, it''s not nurture. - Reply to this comment
Oh my....
For a really juicy story on question planting and male prostitution, google Jeff Gannon and Bush.
Be careful, it''''''''s very juicy.

- Why are so-called "Americans" buying into the specious logic of "it''s effective" or "it would destroy unit cohesion"? Using that same logic, nazism, slavery, and segregation should all still exist. They were all effective and cohesive. Oh wait - unless you weren''t in the advantaged majority. Rules and systems should never be solely about what''s cohesive, effective or popular, but rather what''s moral, fair and just. Treating US citizens who are serving their country with honor and pride as criminals simply because they are gay, is utterly reprehensible and perhaps one of the most unpatriotic, un-American acts this century.

And this trait allows THIS PEOPLE to act this way , just because . .......Ignorance ,apathy , and bigotry are not gay issues . What about my Rebel flag ? I wish it did not mean hate and bigotry to so many . OK OK OK .......... Mitt Romney supports everyone''s freedom to choose . I love Jesus .Does that mean I am gay ? " Evangelicals for Mitt " is a good site .Go to a source .

- Let me make additional comments on this story. First, Hillary is guilty of question planting. Her and her campaign should be ashamed of themselves. Lastly, though I myself can tolerate openly gay people that behave themselves serving in the military, others won''t tolerate it and engage in gay bashing or killings which, raises the issue of why Democrats would want to put *** in that situation. Hillary should apologize and allowing open *** to join the military should be carefully considered before implementing such.

- It''s hillarious to here the leftwing ingrates continue to bash the Republicans when this particular story is about the Democrats and biased CNN. Too funny, I guess instead of debating the article and it''s contents it''s always about blame the Republicans here at leftwing central.

- It was a good question. What difference does it make who asked it?

- What I don''t understand is why CNN would allow these planted Democratic questioners to be used when they could be so easily checked, especially since so many questions were raised about CNN''s apparent Clinton bias after the last debate. Bill Bennett was able to expose the gay general before CNN even went off the air.
This is either colossal imcompetence, bias that overwhelms any normal urge to be objective, or some crazy sort of journalistic death wish (since CNN was started by that wild and crazy guy, Ted Turner, this might indeed be a possibility).
I actually don''t think it is a bad idea to give the GOP candidates some tough questions that come from a left-of-center perspective and see how they handle them, as the eventual winner will have to deal with that sort of thing. But CNN obviously didn''t GOP representatives ask questions at the Democratic debate, so their objectivity and credibility is now in tatters.
And if you don''t have those things as a news organization, what have you got? - Reply to this comment
- Other than John McCain, did any of those Repug monkeys actually ever serve in the military? (yes, Ron Paul was a surgeon, although not in Vietnam--not quite the same as being in the trenches).
Another fine example of the Chickenshithawks of the Repugniscum party! - Reply to this comment
- "After the debate former Education Secretary Bill Bennett, said on a CNN panel that he was being told Kerr was involved with the Democratic presidential campaign of Clinton, a New York senator. "
Oh yeah like you could trust anything the punk Bill Bennett says. Has he recovered from his addiction yet? - Reply to this comment
- Bad move for Hillary. This isn''t about *** at all, it''s about political dirty tricks and a general who "omitted" the truth.

- Water under the bridge.
When I went into the service I had an elderly aunt pull me aside and ask me why I enlisted - according to her, I had just gotten married so I didn''t need to "hunt for a man" and since I was married I was "obviously not g@y".
Back then desperation for a decent job wasn''t even on the radar for reasons to join.
If an eighty year old lady in ''75 held those beliefs then it''s been an "accepted understanding" that they have been in the military for a very, very long time.
It''s only been a "big issue" since the morality police needed an issue. - Reply to this comment
- Gen. Kerr is also a coward .Why did he lie all during his career ? Why did he lie last night ? Who is incharge at CNN ?
