Intelligent design says that we are so complicated that we must have had a designer. This brings up the problem that our designer must to be complex. So, who created the creator? And who created the creator's creator...it is infinite regression. And if you believe that no one created the creator than is that not the same thing as believing the big bang was the beginning of all things, since you said it takes more faith to believe in that than a creator.

And it is easy to ask the question what will atheists, evolutionists etc. believe when they are finally proven wrong. It is easy because you never have any burden of proof for your argument. Again, it is only a belief that we will be proven wrong. It is also easy because you can say "Well, we thought it would happen now, but it did not, that means it still will happen, we just got the when wrong" into infinity, so you are always right without anything actually ever happening to prove you right.

Anyway, This thread has been hijacked enough and I have to go to work in the morning.

As to the story this is nothing more than Rudy pandering to the far right. The only problem is if he won they would expect him to carry out his promises he made to get their vote, so it is just as bad as if he actually believed what he said.

Firstly singingrick, I didn't ignore your post. I did however take it on face value - if you said you would, then I believed you.

I was however, referring to your numerous posts on the CBS website where you have inferred that all muslims are evil (whether that was your point or not).

And as I've pointed out a number of times, while your intention might be semi-honorable, it can easily be perceived to be inciting hatred.

I take exception to the fact that you claim that my philosophy is "Go ahead, kill us all, and kill our innocent citizens. We don't care. Attack us".

He's actually getting rather sad to watch as he grasps at straws by condemning evolution. Scientist after scientist worldwide have confirmed, through indisputable evidence and re-creatable experimentation, not through "faith" that evolution is how mankind came to be on this planet and that it took life hundreds of millions of years to happen, yet he desperately clings to a fairy tale that is only "true" because his book says so. Maybe we should stop beating up on him. I'm actually beginning to feel sorry for the fool he's making himself out to be.

I completely agree with that assessment Randal. It can be carried past this thread as well. People who fault Muslims for 9/11 but when it comes to their own religion's misdeeds it does not matter because they can just label that person a non-true-whatever religion we are talking about.

LOL! I thought that was sort of amazing myself. Still it's like his claim that the bible is historically accurate which is of course ridiculous. In order to believe that you'd have to believe that the world was created in 6 days and you'd have to forget about all of those fossils. Unless "god" buried them all here just to scre*w with our heads. lol!
