I''m like most of here posting find this "news" organization to be truely unbelievable. What we and should do (me included) is stop going to these types of a$$ kissing "news" sites with half of the country being conservative(not Republican) and watch their viewership and revenues fall through the floor. Then and only then will they get it to be OBJECTIVE. Oh, but then they will want a bailout instead of trying to be newsworthy. I for one was yelling at the computer when I was this title, and am on the verge of never returning again, leaving it to the DAilykooks and movebackwards.com nut jobs. You can have your rag, I for one would not wipe my dogs a$$ with it. S_e_e-B-S news, I sure do as well as millions of others. Good luck and keep shooting yourself in the foot all the while ya CYA. 2008 the year media died....all so true. If I do come back it will be a reminder of the very reason I left.

[Yes, that''''s right - Obama is a coward.]

yea ... that''s it ... a black man chooses to run for president in the united states ... and he''s a coward. he unseats the presumptive democratic nominee ... who happens to be the wife of a previous president ... and who are considered the partriarch and matriarch of the democratic party ... but he''s a coward. he then takes on a vietnam war veteran in the general election ... an ex-pow who reminded everyone of it at every turn ... but he''s a coward. he is character assaulted from all sides with completely unsubstantiated claims ... he''s called a terrorist, a muslim, a communist ... but he''s a coward. he wins the election in an electoral landslide ... and wins the highest percentage of the popular vote than any president since eisenhower ... but he''s a coward.

any you''re an idiot!

Actually, I expect Obama to get totally reamed by the media throughout 2009, and possibly later, as the economy goes downhill. This will probably be a rerun of 1993-1995, when the press gave Bill Clinton a thorough shellacking.

What a dumb title to this article - Obama is where he is BECAUSE of the media. Seems to me like he''s had them wrapped around his finger since the beginnning.

[I think you should look up the definition of "landslide". He received the support of 53% of those who voted. That translates to about 18% of the American people. McCain got 46%, or the support of about 15% of the American people. Obama has neither a majority or a plurality of support in the county as a whole.]

it was an electoral landslide. in 2000 the only thing heard from the right is that the popular vote doesn''t matter ... just the electoral. has that changed now in 2008?

he got more of the popular vote (of those who voted) percentage wise than any president since eisenhower (even more than reagan). he got more votes cast for him than gwb in 2000 or 2004.

[And, unless I''''m misinformed ...]

yea ... that''t the problem right there.

He was pushed onto America by mainstream media. They corporate elite and bankers chose him and our controlled sellout tv news did their dirty work. He, like McInsane are sellouts and do not represent the citizens, but the globalists. GG.

Win over the media? You guys have been his PR department for the past two years. Maybe you should do a story about how media can relearn the process of objective news reporting.

Reporters in print and broadcast world have long been charged and trusted to deliver truthful information to the public to enable us to make rational decisions about our leaders. Never, ever in the 50 years I''ve been voting have I seen such a travesty as that emerging this election. Shame on every one of them, with rare exception. We no longer have journalists we have gossips far worse than those who used to eavesdrop on party lines, hang over the back fence and laze in the town''s barbershop. What a bunch of losers - selfish and tuned only to their own narrow agenda.

Win them over? WIN THEM OVER? Holy Mother of God - Obama has owned the press, with rare exception, from the get go. In 50 years of voting I''ve never, ever seen bias of the kind expressed by those who were supposedly bringing us (the public) information. That information was supposed to allow us to make an intelligent decision on how we would vote based upon facts. What a pitiful bunch of hacks our reporters are today. Shame on the whole bunch of them.
