Comments on: Bill O'Reilly For Debate Moderator
MarketWatch Media Columnist Jon Friedman Is Bored Of Presidential Debates; Spice It Up, He Says
- Bill O''Reilly may sometimes be amusing, but he''s as extreme right-wing as you can be, in the US, short of wearing a swastika on his lapel. He''d be totally biased in favor of the Republican candidate. Obviously, having him moderate anything would be totally inappropriate.

- This article seems 8 years too late. O''Reilly has been exposed for being a fake one sided loon in the last eight years since the last open election. The author either missed the last eight years or maybe he is O''Reilly''s new luffa man???

- As a democrat candidate, I wouldn''t go anywhere near the lying *** on Fox News.

- O''''Reilly: "John, can I get you a pillow? Why don''''t you take a nap?"
McCain: "Thanks Bill"
O''''Reilly: "Barack, what is the solution to every crisis in the world".
Obama: "I "
before Obama even gets a second word out
O''''Reilly: "Do you think Americans are stupid? You''''re not answering their questions. You''''re the most unpatriotic candidate ever. Clearly, everyone sees McCain has all the answers and Obama has none."
What''''s next, is CBS going to suggest Rush Limbaugh be the moderator?

Best post so far. LMAO - Reply to this comment
- IMO, Bill Moyers would be the better choice. O''Reilly is just another shock jock and isn''t worth listening to at all.

- Can you imagine calling that right wing propaganda "news" Right there, all credibility is gone.

- It would be far more entertaining with Jon Stewart.

- Bill needs to stay on his Republicon right wing propaganda Faux News altar. I like his show The Fascist Spin Zone.

- A partisan buffoon like him? You''ve got to be kidding!
Why not get Jerry Springer? - Reply to this comment
- Bill would be the perfect moderator for the next debate. But the unfortunate truth is that he is a right wing host on a very right wing network. He could not be non-partisian and keep his daytime job.

- O''Really''s "disgusted with BS" antics usually aren''t any more convincing than the act he put on about the producer and reading the copy - "I''ll do it live!" The guy is a terrible actor, a shill for the "outraged" everyman who picks fights and pretends to chew up and spit out those he says are "spinning". It''s like watching bad professional wrestling with this guy, he''s a complete and utter fake. He belongs in actor''s prison without parole. It''s all staged and he doesn''t mean a word of it or care at all about the people he claims to be representing. What a crock. But hey, his ratings are good and that''s all that matters to those chumps over at Faux News. The saddest part of it all is that there are people who watch this and believe it''s real. No, I take that back, the saddest part is that the people who are suckered in by this grandstanding can vote and reproduce and then teach their kids to believe it, too. The cycle of abuse is never ending.

- Well, bill-o did recently say that he himself was proof God exists. I figue that''s true--and that she has a sense of humor.

- Yeah...okay. Now there''s your stupid. How about we just put them on American Idol and who sings the best 80''s hair band song wins the debate? Or Dancing with the stars... cha cha cha.. Who thinks up this stuff anyway?

- Yeah that would go over Bill O''Reilly as debate moderator. The man who repeatedly and systematically cuts off every one who expresses an opinion that he doesn''t agree with. He''d have cut off Joe Biden repeatedly and let Sarah Palin talk almost the entire time. That''s what I want to see, the big bully which he is, letting the stupid person ramble on about nothing with a whole lot of inage "you betcha''s" tossed in enough to make me puke!

- O''Reilly and Olbermann as co-moderators, each taking turns asking questions, would be better and more even-handed.
