First, I have to admit that I haven''''t watched the CBS News in more than 20 years. Posted by rodnev

CBS News is fortunate you showed up on this site to let them know of your willingness to venture an opinion about their "newsworthiness" with your mind uncluttered by original evidence. It is of no small significance that you have used the age-old rhetorical device of "attacking the messenger" rather than "considering the message." I mean, how could you possibly attack a message you don''t bother to verify from its source? Not when the "messenger" gambit is so handy. I apologize for falling into the same habit, but you make it so very easy.

Barack Obama is not running on the "saving taxpayers'' money" platform; Sarah Palin is. She really needs to practice what she preaches, in any tongue.

Would all of you that are trying to justify the $150K expenditure as being okay try to understand why this is outrageous? I realize it will be tough for some of you to grasp, but stay with me on this.

The Republican party has touted Palin as being this so called everyday hockey mom living an ordinary life with her family like most Americans.

Now, ask yourself this question. Do you have $150K to spend on clothes for you and your family? I didn%u2019t think so. Next issue?

First, I have to admit that I haven''t watched the CBS News in more than 20 years. I even skipped K Couric''s opening night. I chose to view the website today just to get their take on Palin''s clothing issue. Other networks have been hammering CBS for thier bias and I just wanted to make up my own mind. Of course I wasn''t surprised to see that you got it wrong. I also wasn''t amazed that there was no mention on B Obama''s hand made suit or the amount of money he his spending on his election night party. I guess down in my heart I didn''t want to believe it. I am sad to say that the network I grew up watching every night with Walter Cronkite is not the same. Maybe if it returned to the same acceptable values and integrity it could vie for top viewship.

Try the 5/5 rule:
Will this matter in 5 months?
Will this matter in 5 years?

You got to love the media, they keep $150,000 worth of clothes in the news for three days now, but never put anything about Barack spending $200,000 a month to keep Vera and body guards in Martinique for over a year with no end in sight coming from all you gullible democom contributors. When you googled barrack affair the first of the year you got pages on his affair with Vera. Then when Clinton was giving him some heat on it and you googled barrack vera affair in mid year you got over 400 hits for McCains affair all entered the same day. Now I guess Oprah has forgot about it and you google Barack vera affair and it is back the first hit. But that is what you can do with a billion dollar media machine. But again the media talks about a wardrobe for Palin, and then pay half of you posters to keep it going.

Are we seriously concerned with this? I would imagine that if you had the details on Obama,McCain and Biden, they to would have spent a significant amount of money on new clothes if they had not already been campaigning for 18 months. How much have they spent over the last 18 months on new clothes?

Palin says "that''s not who we are" when talking about her spending spree. You know what, they have a quarter million dollar home, an airplane, two boats...I think that''s who they are. And a Louis Vuitton bag for one of her kids. GIVE ME A BREAK!

It appears, like eveything else, Palin has denied that they spent 150 grand. McCain didn''t deny it, but Palin is. I did not get clothes, I was not unethical, it was Courics fault, it was Todd... wow real class act there.

I am so sick of Palin''s view that some americans are more real than others. She means people who look like her and act like her and have her ways. How limited can you get? yuk yuk yuk. get this moosehunting anti-thinking mean streaked woman away from me.

This is the opposite of the Obama Biden platform. Two minutes research exposes this kind of silly fabrication, so why do you wackos bother?

Please check all facts before going to the polls!!!!! If you don''t take the time to check the facts then you SHOULD NOT take the time to cast your ballot. Senator Obama may be young but he has a gift of intelligence. Executive experience does not mean Executive success***(Palin). I believe he will be intelligent when it comes to making choices for our country. I believe he wants to shape America into a unified country.
Palin could be our next President!! Do we really want a President who believes that as long as they can see the country from their window, they will know how to deal with the country? Do we want someone as a President or VP who supported her husband as a member of an Alaskan political group that doesn''t even want to be a part of America? Also, if you want to see McCain agree with Obama on his "socialist" views then please visit the daily show for a clip of a speech McCain gave at a college where he tells one of the students that their father should pay more taxes because he has more wealth.I must say I am disappointed there are people out there who would rather keep a measly 2% more of their wealth then to see another family have the same opportunity to financial fulfillment. Ask yourself, am I pro-America?

For all of you making a big deal about Obama "redistributing wealth" there is a video of MCCAIN arguing with a college student about how her father should pay more in taxes because he is wealthy and should support the rest of the country. It''s on Jon Stewart''s October 21 show, 6 minutes, 15 seconds into the show. Get it? It''s MCCAIN saying to a college student exactly what Obama said to Joe the plumber. Ultimate hypocrisy, McCain is contradicting himself every time he brings up Joe the plumber. Check it out and tell us how you can defend McCain now:
