denn034 says I "misrepresented" LDS doctrine. NOT SO! I said they "used to" swear vengeance against the USA in their secret temple ceremonies. I did NOT say they are doing that now. However, they never officially repudiated that position. They just changed the ceremony.

Although the temple ceremonies have been altered several times, they are SUPPOSED to be divinely inspired. I''ve always had my doubts about any god who can''t make up his mind about how his minions should worship him.

Let me repeat. What part of separation of church and state don''t you understand? Why no mention of the other candidate''s religion or religious views?

bostonbb3 says, "Mormons worship Christ...Anyone suggesting otherwise is speaking from an uneducated mind or an misinformed position."

It''s not a question of whether of not they include Jesus in their list of beings to worship, along with that criminal conman, Joe Smith. The point is, LDS cult members call themselves "Christians" but they believe a BUNCH OF STUFF that the majority of "Christians" consider satanic. Therefore, Christians will NOT be lining up to vote for Mutt. That''s just the way the cookie crumbles.

zenzen1,
Your "What we don''''t need to some trendy, ex-hippy, idiot running our country" statement couldn''t be more true.

Your article has convinced me to vote for Mitt Romney. He sounds like the sort of grounded person we need. What we don''t need to some trendy, ex-hippy, idiot running our country.

parrot2,
I don''t defend the disjunctive revelations of Mormonism but, it''s their beliefs. The fact remains, that they''ve put that nonsense behind them. Judge them for who they are now not who they were.

parrot2,
Hoffman confessed to forging the Salamander Letter. Regarding the Negroes, I don''t defend it but, the Mormons now give Negroes priesthood and have put their racist ways behind them.
