The Skinny: 80,000 Items Unaccounted For -- "Near Universal" Security Breach Left Mementos Open To Theft By Insiders

What a cold, witchy man.
No wonder his own children won"t speak to him. - Reply to this comment

- The massive theft at the Reagan library is not the result of poor record keeping or lack of funds--it is the result of hiring thieves to run the place. No amount of safeguards will protect the chickens if you put a fox in charge of the hen house.
By extension, no constitution will protect us if we elect criminals who have no regard for the rule of law. - Reply to this comment
- It''s a sad day when Reagan''s belt buckles go missing, the fed says our economy is in ruins, AND OJ has to begin spending his days in court instead of looking for the REAL killer.

- Jesus Christ himself gave "THE GAME" away when he told his disciples that one old man had been born blind just so Jesus could come along and heal him and get a lot of praise for it.

- It"s religious propaganda masquerading as charity for the homeless.
From amazon.com:
"THE GAME, by James Webber
The baseball diamond is the playing field for an epic battle between Jesus and Satan for the control of the universe. It"s Satan on the mound of life throwing every hook, curve, slider and sinker imaginable. And he"s pitching a no hitter. All have struck out to Satan"s fiery darts. Angels and man and the universe have only one hope. And that hope emerges from the dugout beaten, battered and bruised. There is triumph. The triumph of "THE GAME" is followed by other triumphs in the stories of Abraham, Moses, Job, and Daniel of the Old Testament, as well as the stories of Peter, Paul, and John of the New Testament. The stories basically cover the bible from Genesis to Revelation. It is delicious food for minds that inquire of such matters, with surprising information that could be considered facts contrary to popular beliefs. There is also a short take on the bible itself. We hope that you enjoy reading "THE GAME". Happy reading to you.

As Larry Craig once said, one swallow does not make a spring.
Even Muhammad Ali in his prime had some bad rounds.
I"ve seen Hillary in debates, and she"s generally very good. Knowledgeable and witty and forceful at the right times.
Ask Rick Lazio how easy it is to debate her. (If you can find him.) - Reply to this comment

I was paraphrasing. I shouldn"t have used quotation marks.
I hope you have better luck with that Monopoly piece than you"re going to have in November 2008. - Reply to this comment
- RE: "Hillary Rodham"s commencement address at Wellesley College received a standing ovation lasting seven minutes."
Coincidentally, that"s about how long it took Bush to get his mouth around that difficult and arcane Latin phrase "State of the Union":
"And so, in my State of the - my State of the Union -or state - my speech to the nation, whatever you want to call it, speech to the nation - I asked Americans to give 4,000 years - 4,000 hours over the next - the rest of your life - of service to America. That"s what I asked - 4,000 hours." - George W. Bush, Bridgeport, Connecticut, April 9, 2002. - Reply to this comment

You might hope Hillary wins in ''08, but I don''t think she''ll hold it together under pressure when she can''t control and photo-op everything like she''s used to doing.

- By the way, I hope this is the leading campaign ad of the GOP campaign for president in 2008:
"Hillary Clinton doesn"t have the right personality to be president. She"s too calculating. She isn"t a nice, friendly good ol" boy type, like George W. Bush. [camera pans to picture of Dubya grinning].
Vote for [fill in the blank] because I''m like George W. Bush, and she isn"t."
Yeah, go with that one, hawksprings. That sounds like a real winner. - Reply to this comment

"Pathetic" is accurate. Disregarding 2000, every single person that voted for him a second time needs to be ashamed. - Reply to this comment

I''ve made two observations: she''s popular with her current constituents, which can''t be said for Mayor Rudy, or Governor Bush, and she''s consistently leading in the polls. You''re just chock full of wishful thinking, generated to sell radio air time. - Reply to this comment

You believe all kinds of unsubtantiated Hollywood-type gossip when it comes to Clinton.
But when two distinguished members of the Bush administration, Paul O"Neill and Richard Clarke, publish devastating books about his mismanagement of the War on Terror and the quagmire in Iraq, you dismiss them both as "disgruntled former employees."
Hillary Clinton is going to win in 2008.
I hope you choke on it. - Reply to this comment
- I watched Bush on television this morning, praising French President Sarkozy.
Bush looked and sounded exactly like the old drunken relative whose unsteady approach you dread at family gatherings.
It is really pathetic that this buffoon has ever been president of this great nation. - Reply to this comment
- actornaught,
You don''t have to believe me. Do some investigating on your own about what these people have said about Hillary.
What''s she really accomplished anyways except and attempted takeover of the US Healthcare system, and monitor and extinguish Bimbo Eruptions for 30 years? - Reply to this comment
- You don''t want her for President.

Dee Dee Myers, ***** Morris, George Stephanopoulos and others have all said in interviews and other places how explosive Hillary''s temper is, what a back-stabber she is, how conniving she is, and on and on.

- And yes, George W. Bush will be in the 2008 Presidential race.
He won"t be on the ballot, but he"ll be in the race.
And wherever he is today, Willie Horton will be laughing about it. - Reply to this comment
