The Skinny: Big-Box Behemoth Losing Power As Consumers Shop Online, And Elsewhere

You know what I feel anguish over? I feel anguish over the fact that what was once a great country, is no more. It is very sad. Now you may disagree with me but there are many of your fellow Americans that don''t. And when I say certain things, it is to try to wake you people up, to take control back of your country, before it is too late. You live in so much denial that you can''t see what''s in front of your face.
"Why do you portray us as unfeeling hate-mongers that to a man, rape and kill our children and women, and after we have killed all of ours we go out and conquer other countries ''''solely for the purpose of getting more women to rape and kill."
Now this statement that you made, could you explain it to me again? I don''t know if it is just me but I can''t make heads nor tails out of it, which isn''t unusual with most of your posts.
I can tell you though that with the way this statement stands now, I have said no such thing. Like I have said before though, you like to twist and turn things into what you want things to say, even if they aren''t true. - Reply to this comment

I wouldn''t be listening to much to ToolMangler. Most think he is missing a few bricks. He likes to pick everything I say apart and cause problems where there is none. - Reply to this comment

Okay, I''m still trying to figure out why you would be pissed off about my post???
ToolMangler is saying that I got upset about you saying that it is too cold in Canada. That isn''t true. I was not upset at all, why would I be? I was making a joke about people thinking that we live in igloos. Believe it or not there are many Americans that do. I was just telling you that not all of Canada is cold.
And as far as defending Wal-Mart goes, I wasn''t. I simply said that there are people that can''t afford to shop anywhere else and that the stuff that is in our Wal-Marts is not flawed.
"If empath is short for empathy, like sympathy, your not, I don''''t think so anyways!"
Now did I not say that I felt sorry for you????
Being an empath is not about that. - Reply to this comment

- The Walmart musings of Hagey and most of the postings here appear to have been written under a communal drug induced trance. Wake up a smell the coffee! Walmart is on pace to increase sales by $30B this year, that''s ''B'' as in billion. That''s more than 4 times the $$$ sales growth at Target.
As for losing sales to the internet, that''s laughable. Walmart sells mostly underwear, shampoo, groceries, and various other consumable items. Please alert me when it''s time to buy toothpaste or femenine hygene products over the internet.
As for union busting, last time I checked, America is a free country. The 1.5 million+ employees of Walmart freely decide to exchange their labor for a Walmart paycheck each and every day. In the words of Lee Iacocca, if they can find a better job, take it. - Reply to this comment

empath
Feeling strongly what someone else feels. Picking up emotion and pain from violent movies, or violence in the news. Feeling pain in the head while watching a character get beaten while in a boxing match.

Then why don''t you feel our anguish over your relentless ''Bashing of America'' Why do you portray us as unfeeling hate-mongers that to a man, rape and kill our children and women, and after we have killed all of ours we go out and conquer other countries ''solely for the purpose of getting more women to rape and kill. "THAT IS WHAT YOU HAVE BEEN TELLING THE WORLD IN YOUR POSTS OF HATE AND ''VITRIOL''. Then you have the temerity to come and get upset if someone says "Its too cold for them in Canada".

- I hope they all close down and take all their chinese made products with them!! Outsourcing our manufacturing puts americans out of work and sends our dollars overseas. Americans can''t compete with chinese child labor laws and we shouldn''t! Don''t complain about the taxes used for the poor when their jobs are shipped overseas because you buy foriegn products. Buy American and give America a future.
