Do you forget that GW is the son of a CIA Director. Is some respects he has impunity in all he does, because NO one will consider impeaching the son of a president. Even the e-mails that were lost through activities of RNC operatives will be lost to accountability. This is an imperialist rule beyond anyone's, even Congress' oversight.

Doesn't matter. His old man was a political appointee. It's the career agents who really run the CIA and god himself (if he existed) had better not pis*s them off. Bushy and Cheney did and what they'll do to JR and his puppet master Dic*ky Cheney will have nothing to do with impeachment. The CIA never forgets and their reach goes around the world. Someday they will exact revenge against Bush and Cheney. That's the way that the world goes 'round.

Actually, I think Cheney CAN run again for office. I think the two term rule only applies to the President. It would be great if Cheney did try to run for President. With an approval rating in the teens, it would be dead easy to beat him -- even Kerry wouldn't be able to screw that up. And we'd get to torture him in the media for all next year. He's too cute to run, however, and he and his handlers know how incredibly unpopular he is, even with the most rabid of Republicans. The latest revelations are nothing surprising. This is an Orwellian scumbag of the first order.

Seriously, this administration has time and time again act as if laws do not apply to them, they have lied to the American people, so with the same arrogance Cheney feels he can do as he wants along with George W Bush. I'm not at all worried about that. Both Cheney and Bush royally pis*sed off the long serving agents (not the political appointees, but the career ones) of the CIA by blaming this war on them when it was Bush and Cheney who twisted the intel. Career agents don't like to be blamed even for things that are their fault, let alone for the ones that are not. The CIA has a long memory and an even longer reach.

So I find it nearly impossible to take any one in this White House at their word because they show time and time again their word is not worth the breath it takes them to announce it.

This is very much the case for most Americans. This is the main reason why the President's ratings are so low. EVERYTHING said by this administration is questionable, and therein belies the aspect that this President as done more damage to the Executive branch, than any others prior.
