- The temptation is to make jokes. be funny. The gravity and pure sorry state of things, make this other wise comical writer conclude the following:
Bush, as President is the Commander in Chief. Every President is and has been. It is part of the Job Description. I am so disappointed, embarrassed, and ashamed on this President that I can see only one solution.
The politicans, those who truly love this country, need to immediately mount an impeachment proceeding. This mess has gone too far. - Reply to this comment
- So why is it that in the GOP/Republican party there are no dissenters, no independent thinkers, no moderates? Where are the real conservatives

- Have they checked out any of the illegal aliens? They come here looking for work. They could pay their minimum wage and get 200-300 into the job.

That's true and every time one of them quits in disgust (as they certainly will, probably weekly) all Bush has to do is swing by the Home Depot parking lot and pick up another one. Hell that way he doesn't even have to pay minimum wage. - Reply to this comment
- I don't think that you should be disparaging a madman with his finger on the red button and should he move the U.S.A. would go with him. And if a non neocon is elected the result would be the same, the destruction of the U.S. currency and the end of the U.S. as we know it. I don't think you appreciate the pickle we are in. Briefly, since 1944 when the U.S. signed the Bretton-Woods agreement and set monetary policy for the world and had gold dollar backing; and after the war in 1945 the U.S. was a true super-power in manufacturing and Britain ceded it's hegemonic role when it borrowed 3.8 billion from the U.S. Then in 1970, Bretton-Woods agreement was dissolved, the gold standard at $35 convertible went away and the IMF and Henry Kissinger came to power. Kissinger believed in Realpolitik which is usually used pejoratively as a term to imply politics imposed by means of physical violence, political extortion or economic suppression or to imply completely amoral politics aimed solely to achieve the goals by any means. Later, Reagan instituted his policy of peace through strength. This brought us 185 democracies into the IMF through extortion or Realpolitik and being the Godfather with our nation%u2019s dollars running up deficits, always knowing that the 185 countries of the IMF continue allowing the U.S. to freely spend as the rest of the world continues to pay US. But the killer is the enemy converting from petrodollars to petroeuros. That%u2019s when the war czar job opened.

"As you know, there were lots of huge marches around the country yesterday to protest the immigration laws. The marches had quite an impact on businesses. Restaurants had to close, construction sites had to shut down, the Yankees had to forfeit a game ... Do you realize that Americans are now doing the jobs that immigrants won't do because they're out protesting?"

- Can you imagine what this joke of a president is doing to troop morale?
They know he has no reason for their being there, except maybe to keep Halliburton in the oil business.
They are not allowed to divulge the real reason they are dying.
Then this idiot tries to get someone else to take responsibility for all the lies he has given this nation for his schemes in the desert...
