It is sad that so many 911 system cannot trace cell phone calls, especially in rural areas. All that technology this country has is useless if there is no political will and a sense of urgency to implement it.

There is enough evidence to go after cheney. This man should be removed from office. The chimp will be more than happy to give up the VP in order to get the heat off his butt.

The White House reminds me of bunch of low level mafia punks I knew in Brooklyn who told me "if you lied and it looks like you might get caught - lie harder and never, ever admit you lied."

Their other favorite was: "You lie and I'll swear to it."

Cheney's not sticking to his "guns" he's sticking to his alibi. What else can he do at this point? It's what Congress and the force of the American people do that counts at this point.

mr. cheney and the like minded will never admit they were wrong ... it's one of their strongest traits.

It's a very evil thing using lies to start a War but how evil is it to, after that fact is known, to continue to do that same thing. Has there ever been two creatures on this planet more evil and more corrupt that Bush/Cheney. When you look at this poor nation and all the killing that has resulted from the lies of these two, it makes you wonder where their souls are. How can people be human and continue to do what these two are doing. To be confronted with the facts and just pretend that your on some mission from God and continue the killing... I'm sure glad I didn't vote for either of them and I'm even more glad that I've done everything in my power to take them down. That's got to help me out a lot come judgement.

We all knew no connection existed. Saddam and the Baathist always hewed a secular line. In the meantime, the Bush administration still insists on maintaining the solo cowboy act in Iraq, rather than heed the advice of the Iraq Study Group to embark on major regional negotiation efforts involving all players. Why the reluctance to engage in genuine diplomacy (besides the obvious imperial arrogance)? The refusal to involve the regional powers is perpetuated, in large part, so that the administration can distribute the largesse of rebuilding and reconstruction funds to cronies. By placing cronyism ahead of statesmanship, Bush forces the Iranian and Saudi influence to come in the form of covert aid to Sunni and Shiite factions, with the U.S. troops stuck in the middle. Halliburton, Bechtel, and U.S. oil interests get the first cut while our troops serve as pawns in the cross-fire. Beauty.

Cheney wouldn't make a good Go-Mart manager. All he is, is a idiot with money.

*** polishing has become a national pastime for our PNAC traitors.

You remember PNAC, a fascist, ultra-right wing club that all the top administration officials belong to. They wanted to invade Iraq before they came to power, just waiting for a 'New Pearl Harbor' to occur...

I meant to say that Congress watches out for its own and that confirmation is almost automatic when current or former members are nominated by the president. Is it okay to blame someone else for my error?
