13 PERCENT? WOW!!!!!! I am retired and support my wife on my Social Security check. 13% MORE in food stamps! WOW. That's about 13 dollars, in this economy, that will get us 2 loaves of bread, a pound of lunch meat, and maybe, a jar of mustard, (forget Mayo, that's 5 bucks a jar now). All of us out here, on food stamps thank you so much, for the help. These are really tough economical times, for all of us. Unless you are rich business people, BIG STIMULUS MONIES COMEING YOUR WAY, all the executives are getting big bonuses from it, I read , in the news.

I feel after watching this segment that if someone who has to rely on food stamps until they can get back on their feet should adjust the buying habits as well. While watching the items she purchased go down the checker's counter, I wonder if their should be some restrictions or teaching them better buying habits. Goldfish crackers by Pepperidge Farms? Chocolate puff cereal? There is wasted money and un nutritional items for sure!
