It was nice to see her sink Palin, but come on now!
Couric Wins Walter Cronkite Award?

Must be a glitch in the Matrix. ;-)

And Barack Obama, who has less real-world experience than Sarah Palin did, is burying America with his own inadequacy.

How does that make you feel?

By the way, Katie - what kind of magazines do YOU read - I mean, besides the Liberal trash that is so pervasive in the market today?

Name ONE magazine with a different point of view.

Poor CBS.

You just don't get it, do you?

I'm not going away until you do.

Congratulations on giving yourself a well-deserved pat on the back, Liberal Media.

Your days are numbered.

Palin buried herself with her own inadequacy.

Couric recently did a piece on Eliot Spitzer where she accused him of hubris. Funny, since all charges against him were dropped, and the possibility that we could have mitigated at least some of this financial disaster was lost to the puritanical impulses of certain sectors of the country. Great tradeoff. And, of course, Katie forgot to mention this.

Her fear of Limbaugh, as evidenced on the Letterman show, is another feather in her cap.

Hi!! I would suggest CBS to renew the set and graphics so that people can have an idea that the Evening News now is different to when it debuted...

Congratulations Katie on a job well done.

I've been a loyal follower of yours since 1998, and have not once thought of abandoning ship, so to speak. The quality of your work and your dedication to serving the public has never waned or been cause for concern.

I wish you continued success, particularly in ratings. While I know that the quality of the work is paramount, viewership is nonetheless the industry measurement for value.

Congratulations to you again, and to the CBS News division as a whole.

BTW "____One_American____," I do not work for CBS.

Congratulations Katie! You definitely deserve the award. I thought your interviews with Palin were more than fair to her....you gave her many chances to say something intelligent...she just couldn't.

Congratulations Katie on a job well done. I was looking for more from Mrs. Palin. I was honestly hoping she was going to be a solid candidate. Ms. Couric gave her every possible chance to make a case for her candidacy and she failed to do so. In fact, she made it more than clear that her vp candidacy was premature.
