I have never been a Katie fan. I must say I approve of her unrelenting questioning manner towards the candidates. How katie was unable to not burst out laughing as Palin tried to do some quick thinking is beyond me. Palin is an embarassment to the republican party and to the U.S. This country needs much more than a winking beauty queen with no real substance or experience and who can only speak to hockey moms. We need leadership not a slap stick comedy act.

Joe Biden carried this debate, without question! He was articulate , knowledgeable, assertive, well reasoned and well spoken. He made his points clearly and convincingly. He reminded me why his ticket is the better choice for the country. He showed me, without question that he would be an excellent and effective Vice president, an asset to an Obama administration and to the American people, and ready to serve as president if the need arose. Sen. Biden , it is great to finally get to hear you debate.

Question - did the VP candidates have the list of questions before the debate?? I wanted to see what Palin is really capable of. I thought Palin would crash and burn, but she survived. Tells me she knew what would be asked. Wish we could have seen how she''d answer if she wasn''t prepped and hadn''t crammed for it.
