- Palin was ONLY picked cause she''s a woman & to capitalize on bitter Clinton supporters who''ve PUBLICLY said they don''t care about qualifications as long as a woman is somewhere in the Oval. A true disservice to US women as it further justifies the notion that a woman can not lead cause we make emotional NOT logical descisions.
2nd Palin is not as incompetent as they had her PLAY. She was dumbed down so once she regurgitated "Bootcamp" her mediocre performance would be overrated (which it is). Those 3rd graders she gave a shout out to could recite things drilled into their head as well & also know what a VP does.
Funny how people want the media to be objective but fail to be. She held her own but she FAILED to answer questions, CONTINUED to go back to issues she had some familairty with/in her notes she KEPT referring to, FAILED to say what she would do as VP but since she doesn''t know what a VP does I can''t blame her, referred to it as the Palin/McCain ticket clearly shows her lack of respect for McCain.
I''M SICK AND TIRED OF HER SAYING SHE''S ONLY BEEN IN THIS RACE A FEW WEEKS SO HER LACK OF EXPERIENCE IS AN EXCUSE FOR HER LACK OF KNOWLEDGE/INABILITY TO ANSWER QUESTIONS. YOU CAN NOT SAY YOU HAVE ENOUGH EXPERIENCE TO DO THE JOB BUT NOT ENOUGH TO ANSWER A *** QUESTIONS. ONLY A MORON HAS THAT LOGIC! - Reply to this comment
- Palin sure pulled off a good one, appearing on Katie''s news show as the bumbling idiot, only to emerge in 1 week as fit to be VP.

- I don''t know what they do in Alaska but according to Madame Palin; men drinking six packs and women watching soccer are the majority. Does the American male want to be thought of around the world as Six Pack Joe? Sarah has lost sight of the diversity of America and has alienated the majority. The American Man is hard working, middle class and more worried about being able to put food on the table then what libation to put in their mouths.
Sarah''s national and world view is immature and not what this nation needs. - Reply to this comment
- Sarah, good job with the debate. But your priorities are rich. Your views are rich. Your road is rich. You took on the oil industry? Gas @ 350 plus PG? I''m not going to go through all the cons of your views but it''s time to move forward for people. It''s time for universal Health Care. It''s time everyone paid their share to help this country. Or, are you not patriotic as you so exclaim to be? The middle class needs help with this huge load of debt and you don''t mind at all that the rich aren''t helping. Change? Yes! Change!

- Sarah Palin: = Bush with high hair, lipstick & skirt. Eight years ago we also saw someone who made a point of being perky, affable & clueless except where carefully prepped.

- On foreign policy, defense: We failed.
How many generations of Georges need prove such? We attack, go away; attack, again for almost a decade. Spend billions of dollars, seventy-plus years of DoD/DoE research, our Intelligence(?) sux, and we''re waging against non-developed nations.
Bully, with holes in the pocket. And, no resolution after years of killing people. Success? Sounds like terrible ROI (return investment). And the Investment Banks are distraction.
Isn''t it time we became boss to public servants? It''s humiliating. - Reply to this comment
- Truly it breaks my heart that a hockey mom couldn''t care less about other people.

- Sarah Palin: "I agree with the Bush administration that we take the fight to them,'''' Palin said. "We never again let them come onto our soil and try to destroy not only our democracy, but communities like the community of New York. Never again. So yes, I do agree with taking the fight to the terrorists and stopping them over there."
