Let's put this in terms folks will understand. If a child spills a banana split on a shag carpet, it will take longer to clean up than it took the child to spill it. It will also take longer for Obama--or anyone--to clean up the financial mess of unfunded (off the books) wars, deregulate what should have been regulated, and underfunded (but had to be paid for) programs and things like tax breaks for the ultra-wealthy, that it took Bush to create them--ie make the mess we're in today. So you see, while it would be great if we could clean up that mess immediately, we have a really huge banana split on that carpet, it is going to take time to do it. If you want to see it done more quickly, please let the folks cleaning up the mess work on it, and maybe the people who are supposed to help them might grab a towel or two and help, instead of walking around in it and making it worse. Okay? Thanks, all!

Wow, amazing that we can't get this kind of thrash-story on Obama nowadays. I mean, after all, we are up over $4-trillion in less than 3-years, and he wants $4-trillion more. I'd say that puts him on path as the most-spending president in history. He fought against increasing the debt limit on Bush's watch, now he wants a bigger one for himself. Why will you guys not be fair and call it all, for what it is? Oh, yeah, I forgot, it's all about money and power.

Things were falling about under Clinton. The dot com bubble has started to crack, and the huge drawdown in military spending and weak responses to terrorism emboldened our enemies, while Jamie Gorelick's memo prevented the FBI from getting the information necessary to prevent 9/11. But Bush never blamed anyone, unlike that pu$$y Obama who spends his time blaming other people for what is happening under his watch.

It's a shame that people in this country today still seem to ignore the basic facts when they are so clearly visible! To "ALL" of those that seem to think or feel that President Obama is the sole cause of this countries problems need to wake up and get real. This country was falling apart before Obama even served one day in office! We talk about the national deficit being so high & out of control, I seriously don't think that evolving the U.S. in a senseless war helped that issue one bit! "WAR"...... is extremely costly, for all of those that don't know! Also, never before has America witness soo many job losses and foreclosure in it's history! Be reminded now, this "ALL" happened while President Bush was in office and was supposingly leading us in the right direction. Well, I don't agree with everything that President Obama has done thus far, but one thing for certain is that he had his hands full with trying to clean up the "MESS" that President Bush left for the next man in charge! The stimulus plan was just one of the proposal the Obama administration implemented to try to get this country back on track and putting people back to work. Although I'm quite certain that this stimulus package didn't help everyone, but once again "WAR" helps noone.....Especially "OUR" national deficit!!!!! WE NEED TO PRAY MORE AMERICA..........SERIOUSLY!!!!!!

Why does this issue get so politicized every single time...Bush is bad! Obama is bad! The truth is, the federal government as a whole is bad. Both sides have to spend more and more to support this new found concept that the federal government is suppose to control every issue that arises. Go back to the constitution, big government is what the founders were trying to avoid. And we sit here and just let them assume more and more power with every election. Vote libertarian, it's the only way to fix the big problem of the government having way too much power.

Bush got a B.S. in history from Yale with "C" average.
He was supposed to have been in the bottom fourth of his class
in high school. He also had problems with alcoholism.
His father was supposed to have gotten him into Air Force
pilot school because he only had the minimum passing score
on the test to qualify and the were other better qualified
applicants.
If the system for picking presidents worked to pick only the most
intelligent well qualified people he would never have been elected.

The treasury department has a website that shows the actual numbers for the
national debt. Bush did add about 5 trillion to the national debt.
Obama has added about a trillion and a half.
Obama has economic advisers. He does not make decisions about
spending a trillion dollars on his own. Even Warren Buffet believed the economic
stimulus plan was necessary.
It's easy to research the numbers on the internet.
Don't believe Hannity or Limbaugh.

Sorry libs, I know you love to bash Bush, but Obama is making Bush's debt look like a joke! Obama blew away 4 Trillion in ONE YEAR!! NOT 8 YEARS LIKE BUSH! I know, I know, the stimulus worked right? Even though we've stayed at 10% unemployment since Obama got in. The stimulus did nothing and this is what we get for electing an even bigger idiot than the one we had before. Only this idiot is more dangerous because he appears to have brains. But what can expect from a lawyer!

4 trillion in 8 years. Obama is going to do that in just 1.
I wonder how long the media will be able to blame bush for this ongoing mess.
