mccain picked palin because she is pure red meat for the religious nutcases on the right

mccain has bolton, the nutcase UN ambassitor who no one would trust as a police clerk as his foreigh affairs advisor

mccain is going to be a disater waiting to happen

I get so tired of right wingers posting what they say is Obama''s qualtifications.

For the record:

- Before getting to the US Senate~Obama served 11 years in the Illinois State Senate.

- In the Illinois State Senate he~passed health~care~for~children, reformed~police~interrogation methods~to~protect the rights of those arrested while~improving conviction~records. Hailed broadly by police in~the state.

I never once said who I was voting for, just shows how fast you are to judge Mcwhitey. I have not made up my mind exactly who to vote for. I just know from some extensive research that Obama needs to be asked a few questions. Ayers, Write, Communist friends, etc.

For the record.. the Wasilla Sports Complex was not finished on-time and under budget.. The city has spent and is still spending millions in legal fees because they didnt actually own the land where they built the complex. The facility with an NHL size hockey rink cost the city of 5000 with a previous annual budge of 20 million.. 15 million dollars plus another 1.5 in legal fees so far.

Also..the reason people were waiting to see what Mccain was going to say on the economy is that while Obama came out quickly and gave a press conference and explained his views.. Mccain wasnt visible.. And Palin has been protected from reporters entirely..

"In 2005, Senator McCain sponsored the Federal Housing Enterprise Regulatory Reform Act of 2005,

It proposed establishing an independent Federal Housing Enterprise Regulatory Agency with authority over Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. The bill would have restricted some of the cavalier behaviors that have hurt Freddie and Fannie by applying risk-based capital tests, imposing new enforcement actions and penalties, limiting golden parachutes and requiring more transparent reporting."

You can sponser and propose anything and look good, even if you know it won''t pass, it''s called politics.

The bill had no chance of passing.

But it looked good, you can say you tried as a political point.

From 1995-1999 Obama was Chairman of the Annenberg Challenge. He resigned as Chairman in 1999 but remained on the board until it dissolved in 2002. The Challenge%u2019s objective was to radically change how education was taught in Chicago schools.
According to the Consortium of Chicago School Research (CCSR), the Challenge was viewed a failure because %u201Cit did not achieve its goal of improvement in student academic achievement and nonacademic outcomes.%u201D Plus, it wasted millions of dollars and public service employees%u2019 time. This is Obama%u2019s only leadership experience.
